!!!! SLIGHT TW : alcohol use

Torys pov :

" sam , sam . Look at me."

I say staring into her hazel eyes. God I never thought I'd care for someone who I once absolutely hated like this before.

" you trust me ,right ?"
I said comforting her trying to calm her down. She was drunk, so I guess she felt A little uneasy. But God was she beautiful and my only goal for this night was to keep her safe.

" yeah ." Sam said blushing kissing me on the cheek.

That goddamn voice. Those eyes. Everything about her God dammit.

" you comimg keene ?" Robby appear to look almost gloomy but snapped out of it as soon as I called out for him.

A couple minutes go by. Robby walks beside me and Sam .

" hey dude what time is it?" I ask Robby.

" Time for me to go the fuck home." Robby snaps unexpectedly.
He speed walk to the car getting ahead of me and Sam as Sam and I shoot each other a confused look.

As soon as we get to the car, I confront Robby

Curious to know what's wrong.

" hey , what's on your mind ." I ask

" can you just take me home please ."
he asked.

"sure . did i -"
Before I could finish Sam cut us off.

" Robbbbyyy don't be such a loserrr ." Sam laughs .

" enough . " I say sternly but calmly to her.

she shoots me a look. god those eyes.

minutes later we arrive to Robby's house.

" OK let me know if you- "

Before I can finish, Robby slams the door in my face.

weird. he's pissy when he's drunk . he'll sleep it off .

my main concern right now is Sam. She was way too drunk to get home without her parents noticing.

I could take her to my place but I almost felt a sense of shame comparing her house to mine. I lived in the valley not too far from her. My house wasn't the best looking I live with my mom who is sick at the moment, my living conditions aren't the greatest but hey it's something.

" so um . If you want to go home princess, that's cool but you're a bit fucked up right now I think it's best if we go back to my place." I say looking Down scared of what her response would be.

" hey. what's wrong my love? "

Sam said placing her finger under my chin, stroking the side of my cheek with her thumb.

" nothing it's just , I don't know. Your house compared to mine, I wouldn't want you to think less of me you know I didn't grow up with daddy's money."

" hey. I like you for you . Something as simple as a house isn't going to change The way I feel about you, no matter how bad you think it is.I don't think you understand that."

" it's not that I don't understand i'm just scared." I say instantly regretting opening up to her. It's not that I don't trust her, I just hate being vulnerable.

" scared of what?"

" Forget it." I spat out.

" scared of getting hurt . Got it . " sam slurs , but definitely more sober than before .

" you and me both babygirl." I snap back.

Before I know it, Sam tugs on The collar of my shirt.

Her tongue begging for entrance.
I pull her in closer.
Both of us in the backseat.
Let's make this last I thought.

" sam ?" I say

" your house or mine." I ask.

" is it all right if I sleep it off at your place? I'll be out by the morning." She spat out.

" I don't need you out by the morning. I mean if you want to leave that early go ahead but we can stay home from school I'll call us in sick we could spend the day with each other? "

' shit. Stupid idea forget I asked'

" Tory , i would love that. "

nothing felt better Than this.

her hands on my waist, her eyes staring into mine, her lips on mine from time to time.

I could get used to this.

" OK so this is my room make yourself at home I guess."

The best feeling in the world is that I knew she wasn't going to judge me. She just needed a place to stay. She didn't care to do anything but crash on my bed.

" i'm going to get washed up I'll be back in five minutes." Sam says as I lay down.

When she got back to bed,
I got lost in her eyes.
I looked her in the face and she told me;
' I want this to last. I can't lose you.'

All I can remember is she fell asleep in my arms as I fell into the most peaceful sleep I've had in a while.
