I had proof that both of the Haitani brothers are great talkers, they know damn well how to stop a silence with an interesting topic. Although Rindou doesn't seem keen on communicating, he did and with pleasure; the smile on his rosy lips was clear as he spoke.
The leathered black seats and the dark windows got colored as we drove under the colorful lights of the streets. I was quite sleepy and the continuous change from light to dark shades was making my eyelids feel heavier each passing second. I wasn't sure if I had the permission to sleep and even if I did, the thought of drooling over such an expensive vehicle was bothering me.
The jellyfish head seemed to notice, causing him to grin in amusement.
He was surely making fun of me.
"Angel, you can rest if you want, we still got a few more minutes before going home", the oldest uttered with the usual honeyed tone, "You must've had issues sleeping in those cramped cells".
"Oh, yeah I did, but I'm fine. I'll have a rest at... home?".
Was I even supposed to call their house "home"? I was embarrassed and paranoiac enough to worry about being laughed at by the two men. Is it their good looks or just my own personality that causes me to get shy?
"If you can't resist just go ahead, we'll wake you up", he answered.
I just hummed in response.
I was hoping to stay awake, but my tiredness had its best, slowly making me drift into a deep slumber.
It seemed like it lasted forever, the nap was probably too long. "Are we here yet?", I thought as I blinked my eyes open. A light blinded me and voices called my name out.
My body felt unnaturally stiff and limp, the position I was sleeping in surely wasn't the best. A soft material supported my body, it was either a sofa or a bed.
Gaining full consciousness of my surroundings, I was finally able to recognize two, no three familiar faces; Rindou with his back pressed on the wall next a door, Ran was right next to me and... him.
My eyes widened in surprise. I haven't seen him for so long, it was almost as if I forgot him, but I could recognize those mouth scars everywhere. Pink hair in a stylish mullet covered his head, his long pale eyelashes framed his blue eyes and black piercings decorated his ears.
I jumped and properly sat on the sofa I was on. "What the— Oh, I totally forgot", I exclaimed in surprise. "Uhm...".
