QUACKITY'S POV:

Today is my birthday!

And I'm so excited because Schlatt finally arranged an afternoon where it's just us..
No work shit,
No drama,
No congress...

Finally, just me and Schlatt!

I've been dying to get some uninterrupted time with my fiancé forever...
But whenever you try to arrange something, it always ends up with Schlatt being called to an important meeting or either of us has to go into the office for something..

As I was filling out the last of the paperwork for the day, I heard a familiar voice and a familiar pair of lips press to my cheek from behind,

"..There's my sweet little birthday ducky~"

I chuckle at his tease and spin around in my desk chair to face him with a grin,

"Hi there, Hun.. Please tell me we're still on for tonight, right??"
I desperately begged and was relieved when he nodded with a smile.

"Don't you worry about a single thing, Pumpkin.. I got it all covered,"
He reassured me before kissing my forehead.

I smiled with a pleased hum,
"...Thanks, babe.. I really needed a break from all the shit happening.."
I said with a sigh,

Schlatt shook his head and softly shushed me,

"..C'mon, now... You gotta promise me that we don't pay any mind to anything else tonight, okay?" 
Schlatt said sincerely,

I nodded and gave him a quick kiss,
"..I promise. Now.. Quick go finish up your work so that we can get done early..!"

And he did exactly that.

Soon enough, It was just me and him..
We met in our bedroom since I told him how all I wanted for my birthday was to watch a bunch of raunchy movies just to make fun of them,
Schlatt immediately was on board when I told him that of course.

We both got out into comfier attire, then Schlatt immediately took me into his arms hugging me..

I hugged him back and rested my head on his bare chest,

That's when I felt it...

My fiancé's little soft bushy tail rapidly wagging back and forth like a puppy dog.
It made my heart flutter and I quickly reached behind, softly stroking the soft tail signaling that I noticed his excitement.

He turned red probably from the combination of knowing that I noticed his tail wagging, and also because his tail was sensitive.

He let an itty bitty whimper slip out but he immediately slapped his hands over his mouth.

I laughed and kissed him softly but lingering my lips on his.
"..Somebody's in an awfully good mood.~"
I teased at him,

He blushed and chuckled,
"...How can I not be..? I got a whole evening with my duckling.. What's not to be happy about?"
He replied with a smile.

I shook my head, "..You're such a hopeless romantic. It's so fuckin' adorable."
I said laughing to myself.

He scoffed at the compliment, not liking being called cute or adorable.

We both cuddled up together in blankets and he brought his laptop over pulling up a list of classic raunchy movies.

This is truly my dream man.

SCHLATT'S POV:

A about a movie and a half into our night,

Quackity wanted to pause for a snack break, I of course obliged.
Then figured this would be a good time to give him his gift.

So when he pranced back into the room with a bunch of different snacks, I pulled out the little black gift box that I had tied neatly with a ribbon.

He tilted his head and giggled,
"Hm? What's this, hun..?"
He asked.

I smiled before handing it to him and signaling for him to open it,
He opened it slowly and I saw his eyes go wide in astonishment...
Thank god he likes it...

"I uh... I had this custom made a little while back.. I thought you'd appreciate it since I'm always away on business.. I kinda figured you might like something to remind you of me whenever I'm away.."

I got him a custom made gold locket that had a picture of the two of us on the day he proposed to me, and it had the exact coordinates of where it happened engraved on the back of the locket as well.

He smiled widely and didn't hesitate to put it around his neck before looking up to me..
Fuck, he's so damn cute.

I smiled and pulled him close,
"..Do you like it, Baby..?"
I asked softly.

He stammered and nodded happiest I've seen him since I said yes to the big question,
"I love it..!! It's gorgeous... I love you so much,"

He threw his arms around my neck and hugged me tightly as I did for him.

I kissed his cheeks a few times sweetly as I held him close...

Quackity meant a lot to me.
More than what it may seem.
I love him with all my heart.

NOBODY'S POV:

As the two of them cuddled right back up somehow even closer to each other this time,
Quackity spoke up.

"...We really need to do date nights more often."
He said with a giggle.

Schlatt chuckled and planted a kiss to his lover's temple,

"I know, sweetheart... How about I try and work something out for next Friday night, Eh?"
He suggested with a grin,

Quackity nodded and kissed his fiancé lovingly.

"..Best birthday present ever.."
He said as he gently leaned in and pressed his forehead on the tip of his nose to Schlatt's,

The ram snickered,
"..Happy birthday, my little duckling~"
