Chapter 1 ' The Notice

'No! We Cant Move! The kids have moved enough times.' Screamed Sarah. 'Its To Late To Argue! The Eviction Notice Said We Had 24 Hours To Leave. Its Been 3 Days!! The police will be here any minuet!' exclaimed Dave. Sarah, Dave and there two kids Jessy and Clive were a struggling Family who had issues with money. 'Im Not Leaving!' screamed Jessy. Jessy Ran as fast as she could into the woods! Crunch! Crunch! The sound of dead leaving being crushed under her feat echoed off the trees. Sarah ran after her but her leg injury prevented her from catching up. 'Come Back Here This Instant!' yelled Sarah. but Jessy did not listen. Jessy ran through the woods for what felt like hours until No one was left in sight. She was completely alone. In the woods. 'Hello? Mom? Dad!' yelled Jessy. But no one answered. 'what was i thinking. Just running off.' exclaimed Jessy. The wind howled and night was approaching quickly. Jessy was lost in the woods; and for what propose. 'Hello! is anyone there?'. Jessy cried out. But she was completely alone. Or was she. There was a tall figure leaning on a tree not to far away. 'Hello. is someone there?' Jessy called out; but no one answered. She walked up to the mysterious figure only to find that the figure still wasn't moving. 'Excuse me I'm lost. can you help me?' Jessy asked the figure; but there was still no answer or movement at all. It was then that she saw the figure's face. It was her mom Sarah. 'Mom?' asked Jessy in disbelief. But it was then that she realized why her mother wasn't moving. Her mothers Face was completely pale and motion-less. With a Long rusted kitchen knife jabbed through her heart. 'Ahhhh!' cried Jessy. 'No! Mom!' yelled Jessy. but she was to late. her mother was dead. Jessy ran away in fear and disbelief. But when she looked back, her mother's body was gone. As if it never happened. Jessy wanted to just lay down and cry but she couldn't. The starry night sky closed over the woods like a blanket; and Jessy had no place to sleep. She wandered around for a bit before discovering a small cave just big enough to sleep in. Jessy crawled into the small cave and tried to fall asleep. But she couldn't. Not after what just happened today. 'it'll be over tomorrow.' Jessy Kept telling her self. But nothing seemed to calm her. The rest of the cold dark night she spent worrying on what happened to her mother. Or if it happened at all. Had she just imagined it all? Or was she too in grave danger.
