Chapter 4 ' The End

When she woke up it was completely dark. The starry sky casted a soft white glow into the woods. It was the middle of the night. Just then she realized that there was something carved into the rock beside her. It reads: For ye to stumble across his might will be doomed in eternal suffering. Then from behind the rock the black figure stood up. 'Who Are You! And What Do you want from me!' yelled Jessy. Then the figure took of its mask. The figure was Jessy's father. He was holding a bloody knife and had a blank expression. 'Dad?' said Jessy. But just then a long kitchen knife stabbed through his heart from behind and his body fell to the ground beside Jessy. Standing there was a shadowy non human figure. It was the thing haunting the woods. Just then it grabbed Jessy by the neck and started chocking her. She tried to break free but she couldn't. Just then she saw two police officers run toward her. Then the figure let Jessy go and ran further into the darkness. The two police officers helped Jessy get back home. They explained to her that she had been over a kilometer into the woods and that it was a miracle they found her. She was reunited with her mother at there new home. The home was a very nice expensive one. Her mother explained to her that while she was gone she won 10 million dollars from the lottery and that they never have to worry about money again But that Jessy's Brother Clive had gone missing a day after Jessy did. A week Later Jessy and her Mother went to her fathers funeral. At the end of the funeral Jessy opened the coffin to her father to say goodbye one last time but when she did, it was empty...
