The last box was packed and he looked at his parents stuff. Severus grabbed a box and put the other ones in there and just as he was about to pick it up he heard a knock at the door. He sighed in relief and hurried downstairs, opening the door to see you.
"Oh, thank Merlin you're here Y/n"., he sighed out., you smiled and hugged him, giving him a quick kiss on your cheek., "so what are we going to do today, Sev"., "do you have your wand with you?"., he questioned as he closed the door.
"Of course. ..."., you smiled., "...I bring it with me everywhere"., "perfect. ..."., Severus smiled., 'we're taking my parents' stuff to the field in the back and we're going to burn everything that bloody imbecile and my mother own".
"Great. ..."., you said, clasping your hands together., "...Let's go then, where are the boxes?"., "they're upstairs in their room"., the both of you started to head upstairs and he pushed open the wooden, creaky door. You looked and only saw one box.
"Sev, there's only one"., you said, confused., "extension charm"., "I see. ..."., you nodded., "...Do you want me to carry it?"., Severus looked at you as if you were crazy for asking that., "no, no dear. I'll carry it"., you nodded, smiled softly and started walking downstairs.
Severus picked up the box and looked around the room once more and scoffed, shaking his head. He closed the door and put the box down briefly so he could get his wand out to lock the door, never to see that room ever again.
"Alright, ..."., Severus called out as he walked down the cramped staircase., "...are you ready to go, Y/n?"., he looked at you, sitting in the armchair, he always sits in with your legs crossed, eating a chocolate chip cookie with the jar on the small table beside you, slightly swaying as you waited for him.
"I'm ready"., you smiled up at him and picked up the jar, grabbing another cookie for Severus. "Are you sure you don't want me to carry it?"., "no it's okay, Y/n"., he said as he shook his head., you nodded and stood up, putting a cookie on the box.
"Here you go, Sev"., he gave you a soft smile and you opened the door for him and the both of you started heading to the field. "So Sev can I ask you something?"., "of course, my dear"., "Clara is to nervous to ask you this but she wanted me to ask you if you wanted to go out with her sometime".
Severus' eyes widened and he shook his head. "Uh, no I'm sorry. ..."., he said quietly., "I like Clara but uh...j-just not in that...in that way"., you looked at him confused, you didn't understand why he was he suddenly got quiet and shy.
"Sev?..."., you said softly, putting your hand on his back., "...What's the matter?"., "nothing, ..."., he said, shaking his head., "...let's just get to the field"., you tilted your head in confusion., "Sev-"., "just go home, Y/n. ..."., Severus said, not yelling at you but holding the an incredible amount of anger., "...I got it from here".
"Well- uh okay. ..."., you sighed out., "I'll see you later?"., he looked back at you and nodded., "yeah just come over later"., Severus said as he walked away and you apparated back home. It wouldn't be hard to contact Clarabell since the both of you live together.
"I'm back Clara!..."., you called out, putting your wand on a table as you walked in., "...Are you here?"., she came running out of the kitchen with a dirty apron on and a tray of cookies "I'm here Y/n- woah!"., she tripped over, dropping the cookies everywhere.
"Oh no!..."., she said sadly., "...It took me forever to make those!"., "here, I'll help you"., you said shaking your head, feeling like it was your fault., "there was no way The Sorting Hat put you in Slytherin and the fact that you're a Death Eater. ..."., she said befuddled., "...You're too nice".
"Hey Clara!..."., you said defensively., "...Sev is nice as well and Lu-"., "uh, speaking of Severus, ..."., she asked hopefully., "...did you talk to him?"., you put the last of the cookies in the bin and stood up., "I did a-and I'm sorry but he doesn't like you in that way".
Her shoulders slumped and she sighed., "oh...no it's fine..."., she stood up., "I'll just be pin my room"., "uh, I'm going back to see him again if you want to come along"., you called out up the stairs., "no it's okay, you go"., she called back. You sighed and shook your head, feeling sad for her as you started walking to your office.
One of your dear friends, Lucius had been cheated on a few months ago by his wife and she left him. He of course have been down in the dumps so you grabbed your quill and some parchment and started to write a letter to him, you had a friend who liked him and you were going to set him up on a blind date only if he wanted to though.
It was towards the end of the day and you walked out of your room and walked across the hall to knock on Clarabell's door., "Clara, last chance. Are you coming?"., "no it's okay, you go"., she called out., "alright"., you sighed out, apparating to Severus' home.
You knocked on his door and put your hands behind your back, waving to the neighbours as you waited for the door to open. Minutes went by and you sighed, opening the door and closing the door. "Sev?"., you called out.
He didn't answer and as you started to walk up the narrow staircase you heard some sounds coming from his room. You tilted your head in confusion and walked closer to the door, putting your ear up to it.
"L-Lucius...f-fuck, ..."., Severus moaned out., "...I-I love you so much".
Your eyes widened and you quickly and as quiet as possible you started to run down the stairs. "Well...that explains a lot. ..."., you said, still a little shocked., "I have to admit though, they would be cute together"., you said smiling at the thought but your face quickly painted with a frown.
I wonder why he didn't tell me? I wouldn't of judged him at all
You heard a door close and you got shaken out of your thoughts. You hurriedly walked to the front door and went out, closing it carefully as to not alert him that you heard what you just did. You put your ear up to the door and listened for his footsteps.
You heard them and cleared your throat softly and knocked on the door. Within a few moments he opened the door and smiled., "hello, dear. ..."., he said, standing to the side to let you in., "...Come in, come in"., you sat on his sofa and crossed your legs.
He sat next to you and rested his hand atop of yours. "I'm sorry for being angry and sending you away, Y/n"., you smiled reassuringly and put your hand atop of his., "it's okay"., Severus kissed your cheek and stood up, walking into the kitchen to make some tea.,"do you want a cup of tea, dear?"., he called out as you heard cups clink together.
"What a question"., you called back., you heard him chuckle and it made you happy that he was feeling much better., "so I shouldn't ask if you want cookies too?"., "correct"., you laughed and you rested your head on your hand as you started to think of when he fell in love with Lucius.
"Slytherin's follow me!"., Lucius called out., you looked around the castle extremely excited, as your arm was linked with your best friend and neighbour, Severus Snape., "isn't this exciting, Sev?!"., you almost squealed out.
He nodded vigorously, extremely excited and relieved to be out of his home., "yes, it's extremely exciting"., he smiled at you. Severus looked around The Great Hall and a taller platinum blonde haired boy caught his attention.
His platinum blonde hair was a bit past his shoulder blades, his eyes were a beautiful grey colour and his smile was absolutely beautiful. Severus' smile lit up as Lucius focused his attention on him, giving him a friendly smile. You looked at him and smiled as Severus looked at him with what you thought at the time was admiration.
But now you know it was something else along with admiration. Maybe it was then that he fell in love with Lucius Malfoy.
