You continued talking to Xiao and had a nice evening together.
It was getting late so you said bye to Xiao and went to your room.
The next morning (Around 11:00)
You woke up. You felt refreshed for some reason. You had a dream but you forgot what it was about.
You got ready and headed down to order some food from Yinxiao.
After eating you went to Liyue harbor to find Morax. You were heading to the Wangshen Funeral Parlor to find him.
You were walking until you saw Hu Tao.
"Hello, Hu Tao! Do you know where I could find Zhongli?" you asked her.
"Hi, Y/n! Zhongli is inside. Why are you looking for him?" she asked.
"I need to talk with him. Is that okay?" you asked her.
"Yes, of course! Come!" she cheerily took you by hand and lead you inside.
The Wangshen Funeral Parlor didn't look like you expected. You expected it to be dark and gloomy since it was a funeral parlor, but it actually looked quite lively with people doing paperwork and walking around.
Among everyone you saw a man with long dark brown hair sipping some tea at a table nearby.
You and Hu Tao walked over to him.
"Hey, ZHongli! This person wants to talk to you." Hu Tao called over to him.
"Oh? Are they a client?" he asked.
His voice was deep and a little bit raspy.
"No, I don't think they're a client." she replied to Zhongli.
"Hello! My name is Y/n and I'd like to talk to you about something that might be considered a little personal. Would it be possible to go somewhere a little more private?" you asked him.
"Of course." he put down his teacup and stood up.
He led you to what looked like his office. It had a lot of vintage items in it.
"So Mr./Ms. Y/n what was it that you wanted to talk about with me?" he asked.
"Morax, do you maybe know anything about a person with the same name as me? They were a demi-god a long time ago." you got straight to the point. No reason to waste time while beating around the bush.
He seemed a little bit surprised. I guess people don't normally refer to him as Morax.
"I see. Yes, there was a person like that a few centuries ago." he replied.
"Could you tell me anything about them?" you asked him.
"Yes. They were a kind person but never rejected a challenge. They were good friends with Barbatos and used to spend a lot of time together. May I ask why you want to know this?" he asked.
"I want to find out why I woke up in ruins with only a few things." you replied honestly.
"I see. Perhaps you and the demi-god are the same person. Do you have any powers?" he asked.
"Not that I know of. Would there be a way for me to discover them again? The only unusual thing I have is a vision, but that doesn't really count." you said.
Visions were uncommon but they weren't anything special. A lot of people had them.
"I think you should try visiting Barbatos. Maybe he can help you. I must admit, I don't know how you could discover these powers." he said honestly.
