The weekend came and went and nobody wondered where Yaku was. Just like with Lev, the school thought he was taking days off because he was ill. His family hadn't informed the school of his disappearance, so nobody suspected anything happened to the short male.

Nobody but Kuroo and Kenma knew the truth. Speaking of, Kuroo wondered how Kenma could be so calm about the whole thing. Kuroo was going out of his mind with this pathetic feeling. But what he couldn't see is that Kenma was driving himself crazy for not feeling guilt.

The blonde felt like he had no morals, that if he was able to take someone's life so easily that he had to truly be a monster.

It was Monday now and they were back at school, back to stalking Y/n. Kenma noticed that whenever the y/h girl saw him, she shied away from her. She's avoiding me, he thought. She must've still been hung up on the incident that happened.

But that was weeks ago! No fucking way she'd still be upset. The next time he saw her in the hallway, he approached her. He was lucky, she was alone for the first time today. That asshole Yamamoto had been clinging to her like an annoying leech.

"Hey, Y/n," he walked over, hand in the air with two fingers raised. "I can call you Y/n, right? We're friends, right?" He knew how she would respond. Being too polite she would say that they were, even if she really didn't want to.

"Yeah, friends," she shifted her weight, visibly uncomfortable with the short male, but he didn't care. "I have to go. I don't want to be late."

"Not quite yet, you're not." Kenma placed an arm beside her, trapping her in his grasp. "You've been avoiding me lately. What's going on? Did I do something wrong?" Kenma knew full and well what he was doing, and he loved every second of it. Seeing her squirming like this gave him a rush like no other, a rush he could only get from her.

"No, you didn't do anything wrong. May I leave now?"

"Yes, you can." Then the male did something that surprised both of them. He kissed her.

It was only on the cheek, but it was a kiss nonetheless. Walking away with her hand pressed to her cheek, Y/n knew that she wouldn't be able to concentrate on her classes that morning.

Kenma was on cloud nine for the whole day, giddy to tell Kuroo about what he did earlier that day. He had to stay inside at lunch to take an exam, so he had to wait until after school when they met for practice.

When the blonde walked into the gym, he quickly scanned the room for the y/h girl. When he saw her, he stared at her until she turned around, making eye contact with him then immediately thinking of this morning, causing her to turn away flustered. Kenma smirked before making his way over to Kuroo. Before he could speak, though, their coach told them to gather around.

The players were told that they would be going to a three-week training camp with the following schools: Karasuno, Fukurodani, Shinzen and Ubugawa.

Three weeks? Kenma thought. The universe must be against me or something. Now I'll never have enough time!

The news of the camp was so short notice, seeing as they were told about it less than twenty-four hours before they got on the bus to Shinzen, so he had no time to plan or prepare anything.

To Kenma, this was truly a setback.
