Rescue Training

When it finally comes time for tutoring with Todoroki, it was no where near as helpful as you previously thought. Turns out he's a bad teacher, he kinda just expects you to understand everything and doesn't stop for questions.
"So just follow what i'm doing and you'll get to the answer" he says.
"B-but what abou-" he cuts you off.
"it's simple really just cancel out the exponent and the rest is easy."
maybe to you.. you thought.
When it was time to go back to your dorms Todoroki spoke up.
"I apologize for trying to tutor you, I thought I would be helpful but it seems you're just as confused, if not more than when we started."

"Oh no, it's completely fine, don't worry about it. It's the thought that counts isn't it? I can tell you had good intentions and that's enough for me." you spoke wholeheartedly.
"O-oh I see, well maybe we could try again another time, and you could give me advice on how to be a better mentor."
"That sounds nice, we can figure out a date to continue in class, but I have to get back to my room to finish unpacking, sorry! See you later Todoroki!" you threw him a smile and a goofy wink as you walked away.
You couldn't see as you rounded the corner, but a soft smile appeared on his otherwise cold face.
A date? He thinks to himself.

You get back to your dorm finally able to unwind after unpacking the rest of your belongings.
What a way to finish your first day. You decide to shower and cook a meal before doing your homework. Just as you were finishing the homework you understood you heard an extremely loud knock at the door.

"OPEN UP YOU STUPID EXTRA!"

You didn't even have to guess as to who it was.

"Chill out sparky I'm on my way.." you say slightly annoyed at the brash tone of his voice.

You open the door to find none other than Bakugou.
"Deku said you wanted to ask me something"
Deku? I have no idea who that is you thought
"Who?-OH Midoriya?"
I forgot he pulled me to the side after overhearing me asking Todoroki for help! He did say Bakugou had the highest grade, so it might be worth a shot. You think to yourself.

"DUH WHO ELSE WOULD IT BE"

"Umm going off of your general attitude, hopefully anyone." You laugh.

"Tch.. we'll what do you want I don't have time for this."

"Oh- well Midoriya said you had the highest grade in the class in Algebra, and I was kinda wondering if you could help me out. I tried asking Todoroki, but even he understood he wasn't that great of a teacher."

"Makes sense, I am the best at everything" he stated matter of factly with a cocky grin

"Soo is that a yes?" you mumbled.

"Whatever just stay in the classroom after school and i'll try to get it through your thick skull."

"AWESOME!! thank you so much!" you jump onto him in a hug, until you realize what you did and jump back apologizing profusely
He just walked away.

The next day you couldn't understand why, but you were excited to study with him, almost giddy about the school day ending.

But your excitement soon calmed as you learned you would be partaking in rescue training today.

It would be divided into teams of 3, in which you were teamed with yourself, Denki, and Bakugou himself.

Your team was tasked with rescuing a "civilian" floating downstream with seemingly no way to get out. You later learned the person you were saving was actually an upperclassman named Mirio.

After using your quirk multiple times to get him out with ease, you realize he made it impossible for you to use it. almost as if he was fused into the water.

You decide to jump in to save him, but to no one's surprise he jumps right back in and continues floating. And to your forgetfulness, you happened to be wearing a white shirt. oops

Your team heads up to a nearby bridge where Mirio will be floating passed soon. You turn to ask Denki what the plan is, but he freaks out as your shirt is practically see through right now.

He's just having a field day, Bakugou couldn't care less.

In your frenzy to cover yourself you lose your footing and end up slipping off.

Denki, poor soul, is convinced if he gets into water he would electrocute everyone in his vicinity.

As your falling you lift yourself up using your quirk, causing you to float above the water. Without seeing you come to a halt, Bakugou jumps in to grab you.
You feel bad as he totally did not have to do that, so you let yourself fall and focus on pushing Bakugou back to the bridge.
However, you didn't put enough umph into your throw as he came spiraling directly at you.
With a smack he lands about three feet from you, sadly face first. Feeling guilty, you decide to at least help him to land as he tries to catch his lost breath.
Once you get to land, with you clutching his side, he finally regains composure, until he finally sees your white, wet shirt. Flustered, but too proud to show it, he shoves you off of him and walks away.

"I didn't need your help extra" he says, yet a bit calmer than usual, but he didn't walk away fast enough for you to ignore the slight blush on his face.
With all of the commotion Denki had to face his fear and jump in to get Mirio, and to his surprise, no one was toaster bathed.

Finally the rescue training was called to a halt, and being the last class of the day you rush to get changed to meet Bakugou in your classroom to study, if he even shows up.
