Dani's pov
Ever since Marko drank some of my blood it's like he's addicted to it.of course he covers up my bite marks with hickeys so my mom doesn't suspect anything,I did tell her that I have a boyfriend but that's it,I didn't want to tell them much after that.since Marko and I mates I just...I dunno I've been feeling weird lately,it's as if Marko and I are connected:so I can almost feel what he feels.it was another tiring nightshift at the boardwalk,I was exhausted but my shift was over which made me excited.i then noticed Marko and gently smiled at him,he gently smiled back.
as he walked towards me I noticed that none of his brothers were with them,"what a coincidence,my shift just ended."i said to him.i gently hugged him,burying my face in his chest."Dani,I wanna take you somewhere."he said to me,I looked at him."lead the way Marko."i said,we held hands as he led me to his motorcycle.he got on his motorcycle,I sat down behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist.he started his motorcycle and drove me towards the woods,which made me a bit anxious.what exactly was he planning?i guess I'll just have to wait and see,maybe it's a sweet surprise!
Marko's pov
"Dani,I wanna take you somewhere."i said,she looked at me."lead the way Marko."she said,I held her hand and led her to my motorcycle.i got on my motorcycle,Dani sat down behind me and wrapped her arms around my waist.i started my motorcycle and drove us towards the woods,I had a little cute surprise for us.i set up a picnic for us!as I parked the motorcycle near the picnic Dani seemed shocked and impressed,"Marko...you did all of this?"she asked as I got off my motorcycle."anything for you my darling."i said,holding out my hand.she blushed and held my hand,getting off my motorcycle.we sat down on the blanket,"I can't cook so I got us some Chinese takeout."i said as I handed her some noodles.
"I love Chinese takeout!"she said happily as she gently took the noodles from my hands,I blushed."i love you so much."i said,she blushed."i love you too Marko."she said,I smiled.we happily ate our food,after finishing our food we laid down on the blanket.she gently rested her head on my chest while I rested my arm on her shoulder as we looked up at the starry sky,"you comfortable?"i asked her.she nodded,"Marko?"she said.i looked at her,"yeah?"i said."Are you feeling ok?"she asked,I gave her a confused look."I know that we're soulmates and stuff,so I've just been wondering if you're ok because I feel these weird urges sometimes."she explained,I blushed in embarrassment.
