I quickly got up brushed my hair and teeth got dressed put my shoes and and went downstairs. Okay Gran I'm here I said walking into the kitchen which was empty not even a single plate on the table or anything. GRAN? WHERE ARE YOU? I yelled hoping she'd come out GRANDPA? LIZA? ANYBODY? HELLO? I then walked over to the door and there was a note it read. Liza went to school Grandpa went to your dads and I just went to work after I woke you up. Sorry have a good day at school and happy birthday. Oh yea it was my birthday I had totally forgotten well happy birthday to me I mumbled then grabbed my book bag and started walking to school. I'm so lucky we don't live far from the school. I though

Happy birthday. My friends Ryan, Daniel, Sierra, and Jessica all said at the same time as they came up to me at lunch

How has your day been? They all asked at the same time with huge smiles on their faces

Oh wonderful. I said sarcastically. What better way to spend my day than being abandoned in the morning, having to walk to school, getting two pop quizzes, then eating nasty school lunch. I said with a huge frown plastered on my face

Well it could be worse. Daniel said sympathetically.

He has always been the nicest to me because he's always had a crush on me since we first met when we were six years old. He's Jessica's older brother by two years me and him are the same age and Jessica's the youngest of the group but she still fits in perfectly. Ryan is Sierra's twin but he's older by like three minuets. They are both 14 so they are the second youngest. I've always wondered what it's like to have a twin but I'll never know so oh well.

Oh Jake you didn't have to. I said while opening the box. Oh my gosh Jake it's beautiful. I said my hand flying to my mouth to cover it as I seen a beautiful necklace shaped like a heart inside the box

Here let me put it on you. Jake said as he walked around the table and put the necklace on my neck

Thank you again Jake it's so beautiful. I said smiling at him

No problem it is your birthday. Also it has a little note in it. He said smiling then walked away

You know I could have gotten you better out of a dumpster. Daniel said clenching his teeth
