Chapter 3: The third born

-Somewhere in Australia-

A woman in uniform. Wearing her guns throughout her body.  A woman with a strong heart and aura who can kill you in the name of the law. She is one of the siblings who can kill you with a gun. What is she?

She is a US MILITARY soldier.

𝐊𝐞𝐢𝐬𝐡’𝐬 𝐏𝐎𝐕

I was 10 years old when I’ve been separated from my sisters and brother. It was a chaos that I don't want to remember but I can’t live my life running from it. I entered this field for I know, it can be a big help for me to seek for justice for my parents’ remorse. I never intended to be a part of this job but gotten my interest for having a lot of connections.

“Colonel Sage, there's an SOP in the Headquarters. Your presence is really needed.” She gave me a salute before leaving my office.

I am Kiesh Shyzie Sage, 20 years old and the third born daughter of Wisdom Sage and Sophia Sage. I am a US miltary, holding the position as Colonel leading the minimum rage of 1,500 soldiers due to my platoon’s number.

I went to the Headquarters and when I opened the door, they immediately gave me a salute. Same with me, I saluted to my General.

“Colonel, thank you for your presence here. We're actually planning for the schooling of our elites the Green berets. We're thinking to enroll them in SPECTRE. What do you think, Colonel?”

They knew that SPECTRE holds a vast connections and massive ways of schooling and training. Isn't it enough to be a part of US military?

“It’s totally fine with me. SPECTRE is open for US military. How about the SEAL team 6? Where do you wanna train them?”
I asked our General.

“We will enroll them to the SPECTRE too. They need a proper training. Our mission is to create more armies due to some dangerous threats. So, tell me. Colonel, does your parents’ school branch here in Melbourne open?”

“Why don’t we try to visit my country? Philippines branch of SPECTRE is open according to my sister.” Ate Kris told me about it. Though it's hidden underground.

“Who? The nurse?” Hmm, they didn't know about our oldest. Ate Kris kept her identity hidden.

“No. Our oldest. Detective Sage.” They seem shocked. Ang buong akala nila ay apat lang kaming magkakapatid.

“You have a detective sister? Why I didn't know about that?” I smiled at Major Medina and looked away. Hope he got my message.

“I see. Confidentiality.” 

General dismissed the meeting early and gathered all the elite force.

“Tomorrow, you will go the Philippines. We have to do the training in Sage SPECTRE. Their technologies are way too advance and high-tech.”

All the soldiers agreed and prepared themselves. I headed back to my office and gently picked up the frame in front of my desk. The picture of our parents.

‘Mom, Dad. Ito po ba ang gusto niyo? Maging isang member ng Military ako?’ napangiti ako nang maramdaman ang malamig na simoy ng hangin.

It's Christmas eve and all of us we're facing the big Christmas tree. Ito ang gusto ko, sama-sama kaming magdidiwang ng Pasko.

“Here’s my gift for you, my sweet little Kiesh. I am sure you’ll gonna love it.” It's mom. She gave me a box.

“What is this, Mom?” I excitedly asked her. Ngumiti si Mommy at sinabing buksan ko na raw. I ripped the wrapper of the present and I was stunned.

“Whoa! Mommy, ang ganda po nito!”

“I know you always wanted to wear that, Sweetie.” It's a stethoscope and a pair of white uniform. Just like what the doctors’ wearing.

“Mom, bagay po ba sa akin ito? Doctor Kiesh bilang isang magaling na Pediatrician.” pagyayabang ko habang suot ang stethoscope. Nagsitawanan kaming lahat pati sila Dad kasama ang mga kapatid ko.

“Thank you po, Mommy. I love you.” I hugged my Mommy for the last time.

That was the last time na kasama namin silang sumalubong ng pasko at bagong taon.

I opened my laptop to see if there is a message. Mayroon nga, galing ito kay Ate Kris at kay Kelly.

From: Kris Sage

‘They really need us urgently, Kie. Hurry! I'm going back tonight. Message me when you read this. See yah!’

I typed my reply that I'm going home the next day together with my platoon.

I opened the second message which is from Kelly.

From: Kelly Sage

‘Ate, when will you coming back? Ate Kris is coming home sooner. How about you? We missed you so much!’

I'm gonna be home, Kelly. I'll be there. Wait for me. And I'm not gonna let anyone control your life even your marriage. Akala ba nila hindi ko alam ang plano at ginawa nilang pagpapakasundo kay Kelly sa isang babaeng hindi niya mahal?
