Rose's can hurt

Chapter 1 - Population 12, 507

Hi! My name is Arabelle but everyone calls me Rose. I'm from a small town in Michigan called "Newberry". Population 12,507. .I have a mom, dad and little sister. My little sister's name is Rachel, pretty simple in my opinion but whatever. We have lived in this town for 6 months and I like it. I have made lots of friends but back when we first moved here the population was 34, 345 people which is a lot higher than it is now. People have been going "Missing" and "Dying" out of nowhere and no one I know knows why. I have an idea on why but right now there's know one  in the whole world anyone would believe me, I mean I am only 10. I wish people would notice me, yes I know that I'm "small" and "annoying" but that's now my fault or problem. I've learned to deal with it. Besides I have good ideas and the people who decided they think i'm too small to be noticed well sucks for you. What if I figure out the cure to cancer or something you wanna doubt my little brain then, huh? That's what I thought. I have two best friends Elija and Carmen. They go to my school and are really nice. They also listen to my ideas and thoughts and take them into consideration, unlike some people. My mom (Kathy) is a science teacher at my school for the third grade thankfully and my dad (Carson) is an engineer for this company. I don't know, I never pay attention to him like he never pays attention to me. I'm advanced in Math, English, Reading, and Science. I don't like it because everyone calls me a smart kid and I'M NOT or at least I didn't intend to be or want to be. Anyways back to this whole population decreasing thing, as I was saying before, ever since me and my daily moved here the population has been decreasing at an alarming rate. My mom says that it's nothing to worry about but somethings up, I know it and I want to know what's happening. I have a feeling that it will all trail back to me and my family.
