Chapter 3 - Population 8,853

The population is now 8,853 people and I just realized something: When we moved to the town their mayor "introduced" us to as many people who had kids the same age as us or just anyone. So I shook a lot of people's hands that day and when I say a lot I mean A LOT. So then I thought well that just shows that I could be the cause of this "thing". What if my hands did something to those people I met. Think about it, I have these bumps on my hands. They aren't large or that noticeable or anything but what if they are like a disease that can spread and is murdering those people? I mean it could be a possibility but what do I know. Me and what's left of my class went to the lab field trip thing and all the scientists there were looking at me funny. Well my hands I don't know why though. They are normal except for the spots that are on them but I didn't think that they were that noticeable, but I guess not. Only one person has asked about them, which was my best friend Carmen about 4 months ago. She was just being curious like always and she asked and to be honest I didn't really know either so I said "There just some goose bumps- I think." and she said "Okay!" but Elija hasn't asked anything, even though I knew her first but whatever. There's this one girl who I never touched and if I am the cause of this then I want to touch her. Her name is "Elina" . She's really annoying to me and my friends. She just thinks she's in "control" of us and that everything will be her way. It's just annoying and kinda rude. But I don't know if I should tell Carmen and Elija 'bout me maybe being the cause of these people dying. There's a chance that Elina could find out then.
