Chapter 6 - Population 823

So I told my parents and surprisingly they believed me I did have to show them some proof but they believed me, they said and I quote "We know this traveling from you and we've seen the bumps on your hands we were going to take you to the doctor but we didnt want them to take you and do test on you. " I was so confused when they said that because they always think I'm lying and just trying to get attention. Now my parents know and they are helping and telling me not to touch things and I wear gloves and long sleeves everyday, but I think the disease is traveling through them. Since the population is so low the last 800 people have decided to stay inside, which should keep it from spreading because I'm the cause so it wont do anything to you if you don't touch me. My mom has been trying to figure out why it's not affecting her, my dad and my brother. She thinks it's because they have the same blood or something. Time will tell if it will ever hurt them, maybe it will when it's only us left in this town which will be soon. My dad has been trying to figure out why this has only happened in this town, he thinks it has something to do with the moon when we arrived but I don't know the way he worded it sounded stupid. If they ever tell me something reasonable about what's happening we could find the cause of it. My mom is still deciding if she wants to let me go to the doctors just in case it's not me, but right now we are about 80% sure it's all me. We are people so at one point we are going to need to get more food, so when that happens I really hope I'm allowed to leave this house. I don't like being stuck here but I know why and I know it's so I'm not the last person in this little town. I've been thinking what if when everyone else is gone but me and my family and then when I touch them they die too? Then I would really be all alone.
