(Ellie's Outfit In Picture!)
/ Carl's POV /
I watch as the bus unloads people of different sizes, races, and genders. Everyone is being forced to sign a form to join the group. Im not the youngest anymore, since judith was born, and all the other kids came.I walk into the main cellblock, where the forms were being signed. i walk over, and see a girl. Her red hair glimmered through the summer sun as she walked closer to me, but not noticing me.
She looks over with a blank face. I want to smile, but I return the face.
/ Ellie's POV /
I was a assigned a certain cell, which felt somewhat like being in a hotel. Everyone scuffled along, talking and laughing, as I felt like the weirdo.I find my cell, which is up a set of stairs, and put my bag down. "Well. Home sweet home." I whisper, slowly laying down on the bed. I hear cries next to me, and I sit up, curious.
I walk out of my cell, the sun hitting my skin. There's a nice breeze flowing through the broken windows as I walk to the source of the crying.
I finally stop at a small cell where a blonde girl and a small baby were resting. The girl was singing to the child, which was something I havent seen in forever. I stood in the doorway for a minute, listening to the singing. The girl looked up, and jumped. "H-Hi, im Beth." she said in a small, quiet voice. "I'm Ellie. Your singing is beautiful." I told her, smiling. "Thank you." she said a bit louder. "My mama sang to me when I was young. She taught me how to sing.
I smile. "Thats nice." I say, sitting next to her. "Is-Is this your baby? or someone else's?" I ask. "It was Lori's. Lori Grimes."
Right when she says "Grimes", i remember Carl. "Uh, this may be quite random to ask, and sorry I have so many questions, but Carl, was Lori his mother?" I ask. "Yes, she was. She passed away im childbirth." Beth replies. "I-Ill be back." I mutter. I hear a faint "Okay" come from her. I walk out my cell, and go out to find Carl.
