Everything seemed to move in slow motion.

Choza looked up at the sight, a falling ino and two boys with terrified looks in their eyes shouting for their friend.

"Partial expansion jutsu!" Choza shouts.

He holds his giant hand out and the girl lands on the palm of it.

But not before hitting her head against a steel beam immediately knocking her unconscious.

As the memories fill my head I'm hit with it all at once, all the emotions she felt. The uneasy feeling in your stomach you get when you drop on a rollercoaster. It felt like that but so much worse.

She was so scared, when I died I remember it happening and I remember the pain, but I don't remember feeling afraid. Why was I not afraid of dying?

'Because you had nothing to live for.'

An intrusive thought echos in my head, some part of me agrees with it.

"Ino sweetie it's ok, don't force yourself. Your memories will come back overtime." Ino's mother says with a soft smile, the look on her face is filled with such a strange expression.

'Why is she looking at me like that?' I think as I recognize the confusing gaze. It was a look of worry, her eyes filled with love for the person in her sight. Not for me but for her daughter.

A small part of my hopes that Ino isn't dead that maybe our soul just switched or something and maybe she's me now. On the other hand, I think death would be a mercy.

"Forgive me." The simple phrase that ended the real Ino's life, who the hell was that? Was it someone's summoning? Or maybe someone using the transformation jutsu.

Either way I owe it to Ino and her parents to find out!

'Ino, I don't know if you're somewhere, where my thoughts will even reach you, still although it wasn't your intention thank you for giving me another chance at life.'

I promise to live it well, for the both of us. "Mom, dad, I'm so sorry for worrying you!" Tears cascade down my face as I apologize, I can't bring myself to tell them the real reason for my apology. I sniffle and look up at their shocked facial expressions.

Without a second thought they both move in to hug me. Their warm bodies embracing me with love, something I hadn't felt in so many years.

'I'm sorry for taking your daughters life.'
