Thirsty Thursday

Eric's POV

"Madison. Go on somewhere." I laugh as she kisses my face everywhere.

"Nope, it's my job to make sure you're okay and healthy." I smile at her.

The kids were so excited that I came home that we went to the park, we danced to music, and we watched Sunny Bunnies over and over.

"You better stop or you gonna be limping into work." We smile at each other. Jr and Kayden come into the room, fully dressed for school.

"Hey dad!" They each hug me. Madison is now getting dressed. "Are you going to be home later?"

"Only if your mother ties me up," both of their eyes get big. "Yeah, I'll be here."

"Don't scare my kids like that." Madison is fully dressed.

I watch as she leaves the room and comes back with the sextuplets.

"Daddy!" All of them smile at me.

"You can leave them here. I'm going to need someone to hang in with. You'll be at work and Jr and Kayden at school."

"You sure?"

"Yes, now take yo beautiful ass to work." Jr and Kayden follow her. The babies climb in my chest and snuggle into me like I'm a teddy bear.

"Love you Dad." Pretty soon they fall asleep and I do as well.

Now we're at my parents house, visiting. My mom is busy with the kids while my dad is reading the paper. I just sit there and smile at my dad.

"What's the matter with you, goofball?"

"Nothing. Just being a son."

"Nah, just being a pain in the ass. Madison write your ass out last night, didn't she?"

"Okay, bye dad." I get up from the table.

"That's right, get that ass in outta here." I laugh. Trent comes as I'm leaving.

"Hey brother!" We say at the same time. I'm headed back home now to rest. Madison would kill me if I didn't.

I'm thirsty, but I want Madison.

Madison's POV

Now that my hubby's home, I feel a lot better. I'm checking more vitals and putting more patients in rooms.

I'm thirsty, but I want Eric.

I know he stayed and talked to his parents, but he be at home resting when I get home.

"Mrs. McKnight, I need your help." I help the patient to the bathroom and back in bed before giving them medicine.

Damn, I want to taste Eric!

The rest of my day is filled with thoughts of Eric and helping patients.
