A Ghost Among the Phantom Thieves

Silas' Calling Card

And so, the next day, we all enter Silas's heart and everyone looks at me.

Skull: "Oh yeah, we need to give the newbie a code name. It's mostly just a precaution, but we don't use our real names in the Metaverse. I'm Skull."

"I'm Panther."

"I am Fox."

"Call me Mona and he's Joker."

Me: "A code name, eh? Sounds good. How about Brigadier? I was raised overseas in America and worked in the Air Force before retiring and being transferred to Japan."

Skull: "That makes it sound like you're the leader of the Thieves, and Joker is the leader. So... pass.

Me: "Alright. Any ideas?"

Panther: "Hmm... Death?"

Me: "I don't want to kill our opponents. Next."

Fox: "Phantom?"

Me: "What am I? The team mascot?"

Skull: "If anyone's the mascot, it's Mona."

Mona: "Hey!! Why I oughta...!"

Skull: "Oh, I know! Rags!"

Me: "*glares* You want me to slice you up, dude?"

Mona: "Hmm... What do think, Joker?"

Joker: "How about Ghost?"

Me: "Huh, I like it!"

Mona: "Alright. From now on, you'll be called Ghost in the Metaverse."

I nod as we head into Silas's videogame fortress and Inner Sanctum. We soon find ourselves in a large, open room with doors on either side and see some weird patterns on the walls. It looks like nothing, but when we got to the far side of the room, and find that the door has a unique lock, which looks like a grid. Joker tries to input a sequence, but the lock didn't click and we get surrounded by Shadows. We eventually get rid of the enemies.

Me: "Hmm... Looks like we need some sort of cheat sheet or even a cheat code."

Skull: "If that's the case, where the eff are we supposed to find it?! We never came across like that!"

Mona: "Hmm... According to the map, there are some rooms to the left and right. Maybe this 'cheat sheet' as Ghost mentioned. What do you think, Joker?"

Joker: "Let's check them out."

Mona: "Ok, lead the way, Joker!"

We follow Joker into the right rooms and after a bunch of searching, Skull bangs his head and finds a sheet of paper. "Gah!! Sunuva- Oh hey! I found something. Looks like directions for a treasure map or something. Doesn't seem like a cheat sheet. Besides, it's only half done."
