Alora tuned back in the conversation when she felt Fallon get up to leave

"Your right daddy no need to get upset it's just a engagement anything can happen" spat Fallon with venom lacing each of the words that came out her mouth

Fallon left the room and closed the door with a loud slam that made the participants in the room flinch. Blake exhaled a sigh full of despair and got up to follow Fallon after apologising to Crystal for her Crude words. When Blake left the room it was just Alora, Steven and Crystal.
"Forgive our sister she thought she was getting a promotion not a step mom" murmured Steven

"Me and Blake told Alora but what did you think you would be coming here for" asked Crystal with what Alora could only decipher as a motherly touch.

"That I was getting an apology, not sure which one of us were more wrong" stated Steven as he shifted himself to face his younger sister and wrap a comforting arm around her.

"He really didn't mention we were dating" asked Crystal with a hurt expression

"He stopped bragging about his girlfriends the second he realised it wasn't going to make me any straighter, who's idea was it to call me since you already met Alora?"

"I wanted to meet you and see Alora again" said Crystal with a smile of sincerity that Steven was mirroring

"To see how Blake Carrington could spawn a bleeding heart liberal" asked Steven as his facial expression turned bitter

"No, I told him family was everything and when things get tough you don't give up you fight harder"

"And you think he actually believes that"

"He called you didn't he" retorted Crystal

Alora said her goodbyes to Steven and Crystal and made her way to her room to get dressed, whilst passing by the window that looked down toward their backyard she saw Fallon and her Father having what looked like a serious discussion. Alora was nervous about joining her father's company but she was fully confidant in her abilities as a lawyer.

Alora was in her room when her sister Fallon entered with a face that Alora knew meant she wanted something from her.
"What do you want?"
Fallon was surprised but quickly neutralised her expression, unfortunately Alora had already noticed her slip up.

"I don't know what you mean I don't want anything I was just wondering how your internship went" spoke Fallon with a false sense of sincerity.

"Get to the point Fallon" Alora said whilst continuing to pick out her outfit for her first day at the company.

"I thought maybe you and I could take down the gold digging child bride together"

"Fallon my relationship with Crystal is good I'm not going to do anything to screw up dads happiness we both know he need it after Alexis" uttered Alora with a far away look in her eyes that could only be deciphered as pain.
A pain that both siblings shared.

A tense moment of silence passed till Alora met Fallons pleading gaze and reluctantly agreed to make her way outside when she's done to meet Culhane although it was agreed that Alora would not get involved in any way because no matter how hard she tried to hate Crystal she couldn't because whether she liked Crystal or not she made her father smile something which he had not done in a very long time.

Alora was approaching the car when she heard Culhane state "he pays me 200k a year and I'm banging his daughter" rather loudly to the point a few rather nosy people had turned their heads to hear everything clearer.

"Please continue its not like people are listening to the positions you like to take my sister" said Alora with sarcasm lacing her words

In response to Alora's comment Fallon threw a tissue box at her as well as a deadly glare before regaining her composition and replying to Culhane.

"Fine. Then tell me what else you have learned from the front seat, Who is Cristal Flores?"

"Well other than a women who drives herself I don't know"

Alora and Fallon both gave him a deadpan expression that showed they were not impressed by his attempt to amuse himself and them amongst what Alora knew Fallon could only call war. "Our dad told me to get to know her that's what I need you to do"

Alora had fell asleep late last night as she was busy with some business deal Blake wanted to make with a company called Windbriar and the contract had taken ages to draft and although she planned to sleep in it seemed as if Anders and the Staff of the manor had another idea as she abruptly awoke to the screeching of carts being transported from different wings to the ballroom that seemed to of been going through decoration for what Alora could only guess as Blake and Crystals Engagment party.

Alora had come down in time to hear Fallon confronting her Father on why he was continuing with the Engagement to Crystal after Fallon had shown him photographs of Crystal with another man who Alora knew as Matthew, a man who worked for Carrington Atlantic, in a few compromising positions.

"A temper gets you nowhere Fallon you need patience and a strategy" replied Blake calmly although Alora could sense the bitter undertone to her Fathers words after seeing the pictures Fallon showed him.

"How is this strategy" wondered Fallon. Alora could tell she was beginning to lose her patience after her Fathers dismissal of the situation but Alora knew better she loved her father she really did but she also knew he was the greatest at manipulation and not a nice person in any shape way or form.
