1st Revenge

Song of the Chapter - Nobody's Home by Avril Lavigne

~~~~~~~~~~
The smell of smoke woke me up from my deep sleep. It was filling my nostrils with a very disgusting scent that I couldn't help but open my eyes. My eyes were heavy from the sudden movement but it was washed away when I noticed what was burning.
It was my hair.
I jumped out of bed and quickly made my way to the crappy bathroom affixed to my room. I turned the tap on not caring if it was freezing. I needed to put the fire out. A few seconds later the fire was out and half of my hair was burnt to a crisp.
From the bathroom I heard snickers outside my door. I didn't need to look to know who did this to me. My creaky old door gently opened revealing who was behind it.
"Oh God, you should have seen yourself! You looked uglier than normal! And I didn't think that was even possible!" Ron laughed, his hands were clutching his stomach. His friends were behind, laughing and pointing at me. Their laughter boomed almost enough to awaken the whole neighborhood. I wanted to ask what they were doing up so early but I immediately shut my mouth knowing I would be laughed at more for asking. They were all dressed for their morning training, not that it included me in anyway.
"The stupid bitch was so fast! She'd do anything to save her own butt." he added. It stung my heart when he said that. The guys started laughing harder and I felt my eyes starting to tear up. Why were they so mean to me? Anyone would do what I did if they were on fire so why was running for my life so funny to them. It was a normal reaction.
Tears were forming so I started to cry softly.
Ron noticed me crying so he stopped. He went up to me, put his hand near my face and wiped away the tear that slid down my cheek. His touch was soft against my skin, making my wolf purr in delight. She felt a sensation that I thought I had forgotten. Tenderness.
I wanted to look up at him and thank him but before that a sharp slap landed on my face. I hit the wall from the strength he put into his slap. I heard one of my ribs break from the impact and the sound of it echoed in my dark room. Ron was smirking while his friends continued laughing.
"Why d-did you do that Ron?" I asked him, my voice a little low. I must have damaged one of my vocal chords. I didn't even try to look at him or it will cost me another slap. My tears trickled down my face, stinging the part where he slapped me. He looked at me with disgust. He hated seeing me cry.
"I did it because your such a piece of shit. And because I felt like it. Now get your lazy ass moving, we're hungry." They left me in my room but decided to destroy my door in the process.
I wiped my tears away and went to my dresser, if you could ever call it a dresser. It was rundown just like everything in my room. My bed was just old wood stuck to each other. My pillows were filled with the most uncomfortable stuff and my blanket was a thin piece of cloth that barely even kept me warm on summer nights. I wonder what I ever deserved to live like this, but I remember I am the pack failure.
Guess I need to introduce myself. The name's Juliette. Beautiful isn't it? But the beauty is only in the name. I'm an ugly piece of shit as my parents like to call me. And yes, they are my birth parents. Not some step parents that have custody of me, adopted me or whatever. They were the parents that gave me to this world and they are also the same parents that wish to get rid of me more than anything. Want to know why? Me too. They never told me why they hated me they just did. Even my own brother hates me. Remember the guy from before, he's my brother. He was never this mean with me but like my parents he changed. They all changed.
