4 years after SHE was gone

"Lady Arden, your meal is ready." My maid informed me. Her appearance calm yet slightly shaken. She's appalled with my current state.

I was not yet in the mood to eat so I courtly dismissed her and she left. When I heard the door clicked, returned my attention to my study. There should be a clue somewhere. I just know it.

For the past years, I have teamed up with Alpha Capp in search for Juliette. At first, the other alphas were helping us search but after 6 months they gradually gave up.

Alpha Russo, the oldest alpha and head of the other alphas, concluded that she was dead. Brutally killed by the hunters in a secluded place to show us they are willing to kill us in both silent and gruesome ways.

The other alphas believed him, seeing as he was the oldest thus having more experience with these kinds of cases. But something in me, as well as Alpha Capp's, tells us that the old man is wrong. That somewhere in this world Juliette is being kept alive. Their reason? I don't know but I hope they have one. They got to have one.

I dedicated almost half my life in looking for her. Even my mate, Hans, is growing tired of all of this. I postponed our wedding until I find her. Ridiculous I know but I needed to focus to find her and starting a family won't give me the focus I need.

At first he was accepting because he said I needed some closure from the lost of my friend, he was a human psychologist you see, but after years passed I guess he was growing tired of all the waiting. He wants me to stop and accept what has happened, that I should just let go. But we all know that won't happen soon. I won't let her go again.

Seeing as I have got nothing yet again, I decided to phone Alpha Capp and set us up a meeting. I dialled his number and after a few rings someone answered. But it isn't Alpha Capp's voice.

"Hello, this is the DarkRiders pack." The voice on the other end was sweet and calm.

 One of which belongs to a Luna. 

"Hello, Luna Rose may I talk with Alpha Capp? This is Edina Arden from the Blue Stone pack." I introduced myself  whilst rummaging through the other documents on my messy desk. I heard a sudden scratch from the other end. 

A Luna who is extremely jealous. 

"I see. Is this about his twin sister?" She tried sounding calm but she failed. Her fake sweetness was beginning to crack, giving in to her original reaction. Annoyance. 

I said yes and she told me she'll get her husband in a minute - purposelly dragging out the word husband. She must be thinking I'm trying to seduce her husband again. 

Which, in my opinion, is pure folly. Why in  the world would I run after Alpha Capp? Sure he has all the perfect features of a human being. He had a nice personality but that won't make me go after him. I had my own mate and I was in not in the business of wrecking families. That would make my mother cry. 

In a few seconds I heard some noise from the other end and his voice ringed through. "Hello Edina."
