"So...," she started awkwardly, "I understand why you did it now."

"Wanna tell me 'bout it?" Ban whispered, shifting his body so he was on his left side, and directly saw Meliodas on his bed. He was soaked in the chalky moonlight that seeped in from the drawn curtains, highlighting his blonde hair and jawline. Almost angelic.
"What's there to say?" He mumbled, sighing as the bed creaked and he turned over, glowing, green eyes in line with Ban's red.
"Dunno, man. It was so sudden."
"Not for me. It'd been bothering me for a while." He paused and the sound of the rhythmical, ticking clock engulfs the room. "Took some time to deliberate."
"Did ya atleast tell her why?"
Meliodas smiles weakly. "Sort of."
"So not really?"
"Maybe not in the best way possible. But I can't tell her why yet."
Ban blinked. "Why?"
"I'm leaving that to time."

Light chatter buzzed inside the warm café, people seated at circular tables guzzling on their drinks while some read a book, accompanied by the delicious aroma of coffee and chocolate swirling in the midst. However, Elizabeth furrowed her brows as a familiar scent crossed her nose.
"Elizabeth, you alright? Why are you sniffing the air?" Diane asked, giggling and slurping on her chocolate milkshake.
"I-I thought I recognised a smell," she shrugged, "that's all." The jasmine fragrance she smelt in Meliodas' car...was it here?
"If you're sure!" She said, twirling her straw in the white mug to form foamy curls. Her mahogany hair poured down her pastel halter neck top instead of being in any of her usual updos, "You know what- I might audition for a few dance companies in my spare time."
"That sounds like a great idea," Elaine commented, biting into a vanilla cupcake decorated in rainbow sprinkles, and dressed in a snowy blouse with her golden hair tied into a loose ponytail, a few locks escaping to hang across her face. "Do you know where you'll start?"
"Nope!"
"If I find anything that looks cool, I'll tell you." Elizabeth took a huge sip from her latte, the milky taste flowing down her throat like a hot rush. "I'm sure there's something out there for you."
"I'm sure there is too- but what about someone?"
Diane's cheeks burned. Elizabeth laughed.
"Not just Diane- I'm talking about you too, Elizabeth!"
Elizabeth choked. Diane snorted.
"I'm kinda busy with the upcoming audition, so I'll pass," she hastily said, fidgeting with the blue scarf wrapped around her neck. Finding a man who could deal with her would be hard work, and then attempting to make him fall for her would be even harder.
"Or you could hook up with your drama partner." Diane shrugged, drumming her fingers on her mug. "Bet he won't mind."
She almost choked again, the thoughts of Meliodas and her in positions penetrating her mind- the sight of him with plump lips and red, red cheeks and golden hair in an even messier state than usual because of her and- "Never gonna happen."
