That Special One (an E3 fanfiction)

Chapter 5

                                                                     *Wesley's P.O.V*

We walked into the water, I took Chloe's surfboard and put it on top of the water. She lied on it and started to paddle as I was pulling the board while I walked. Once we reached a certain point, I wasn't able to walk or swim. "I'll have to wait here, just do what I told you. I'm sure you'll do fine. Now go catch that wave" I told Chloe as I gave her a big push. She started paddling and next thing you know, she caught up to the wave. I saw her starting to stand up but then I lost sight of her. "Help me!" There was a very loud scream, that must be Chloe! There was some guy on a skidoo waiting for someone. I pushed the guy off, hopped on, and went to go get Chloe. "I'm coming!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. Oh shit! Where is she?! I can't see her! "CHLOE!!!" Where are you!" This is not good! She could be drowning! How can I live without her.......... I never got to say bye! "I'm over here" I heard a faint voice, it had to be her. I followed the voice and I saw her struggling to get air. I excellerated at full speed and went to save her.

                                                                     *Chloe's P.O.V*

Oh fuck! "Help me!" I screamed as loud as I could, as I got thrown off my board. I tried to grab onto my board but it went flying in a different direction. I remembered that you are supposed to tread water, if you're drowning, until someone gets you. OMG! Where is everyone? I couldn't see the shore because so many waves kept coming. Shit! A huge waveknocked me under the water, everytime I tried to get up, anotherone hit me. Things started to fade slowly, but I could here someone yelling my name. It had to be Wesley, I had to stay breathing for him! I manged to choke out, "I'm over here!" I took one last gulp of air before I got plunged under the water by another wave. I felt something grab my arm and lift me above sea level. It felt like 10 weights were lifted off me! I could feel something warm around me. "Chloe........." I heard someone say.

                                                                    *Anna's P.O.V*

"Help me!" Keaton let go of my hand as we both searched the water. I looked over to where Wesley and Chloe had been, there was only one surfboard lieing there. Then I looked into the water and saw Wesley driving off on a skidoo. "Oh My God! It's Chloe!" I screamed. I was shocked, surprised, and scared! I had no clue what expression my face showed. "I'm sure Wesley will save her." said Keaton, as he put an arm around me and rubbed my shoulder. Drew and Marisa came running over. "I can't find Wesley or Chloe" said Drew, really paniced. "Chloe was the one that screamed and Wesley went to go get her." said Keaton while staring into the water. "Oh shit!" exclaimed Drew as he started running down the beach. He hopped onto a skidoo and headed after Wesley. They were both so far that they looked like 2 black dots. I couldn't see what they were doing but they weren't moving. I really hope they weren't staring at a dead body. I didn't even realize I was crying until Keaton wiped away my tears with his hands. "It's gonna be okay." he said, pulling me into a hug. I looked to my right and saw a huge crowd huddled around the shore line. I then saw an ambulance pull up into the parking lot. Oh no! "Guys look!" screamed Marisa, pointing towards the water. I searched the water and then saw 2 black dots coming closer. Soon enough I could see properly. Wesley and Drew were coming back. Then only I spotted Chloe. She was wrapped in a yellow towel, sitting on top of Wesley's lap. Wesley had one arm wrapped around Chloe and the other on the handle bar. I guess he really does care about her. All of us rushed over to go see her as Wes and Drew pulled up on the shore.
