Mirasi Tonuboni was an average woman, she had two smart and kind kids, a loving husband and a stable job.

... Is what most would say after meeting her.

She herself thought different.

Mirasi couldn't bare being in such a mundane job as a hotel secretary! She didn't have a weak and mundane quirk like her coworkers!

Like come on, who would want a quirk that could make the earth move slower? It's completely useless!

At least she had a useful quirk, it may not be hero material but she could do much more than some nobodies.

Like her husband.

She knew that she liked him when she heard that he had a quirk that could paralyze people he touched.

They'd be a great hero duo!

But the wimp didn't want to be a hero, he wanted to be a journalist.

He could've been so much better and settled for mediocre.

But that didn't matter now, they had children and were married.

While her oldest son of six was a failure, a quirk mutation made him have an immunity to paralysis, her younger son of four wasn't.

Two weeks ago he got his quirk, being able to paralyze people at a distance.

A perfect heroic quirk.

Though it was a shame that he inherited his father's meek personality, crying over losing some friends because they thought he had a villain's quirk.

He'd get over it, they were probably nobodies anyway.

The thing that was irritating her most though was her stupid husband.

The man had the audacity to try stop her from training her son!

Her son was the perfect hero material she was looking for and that spineless man thinks he can waltz in and get her to do what he wants?

She made damn sure he wouldn't think of that again.

His bloodied fingernails in the trashcan proved it.

Now everything was back to normal and she was in a pretty good mood when she came home.

Her manager even offered her a promotion!

When she came home she called out to her family.

"I'm home!"

Mirasi didn't get a response.

Eh, her husband started avoiding her after he acted out and her kids were probably asleep.

Dropping her bag on the kitchen counter, she didn't realize the pair of toxic green eyes staring at her, and went to her kid's room to check up on him.

The younger one of course, the first wasn't worth her time or effort anymore.

Opening his door, she found that he wasn't there and all his stuff was gone too.

She knew what was happening and it pissed her off.

Mirasi thought her son had kicked that habit, sleeping with his father was not something he should be doing.

Stomping over to the guest room, where her husband was sleeping since his outburst, she threw the door open and was planning to start screaming at her disobedient child.

But nobody was there, neither was any of her husband's stuff.

Mirasi was a smart woman, so she quickly connected the dots.
