The written test for the business course was pretty simple, it was basically the same as for the general education course but the essay questions at the the back were changed so they'd be more about general knowledge on how things ran in a business and all that.
Izuku didn't know if the test was just easy or if he was way too prepared for it.
What bothered him wasn't the feeling of anxiety bugging him about if he really passed the test or if he was just imagining it.
No, it was the second part of the test that made him completely forget about his worries.
They'd be watching the potential hero students and think about the best ways to market them, then hold a presentation about that.
UA is a hero school and all, but there were plenty of other professions that had barely anything to do with the heroics industry!
The presentation part made sense, but it being basically a live analysis rubbed him the wrong way.
And by the looks of about a third of the examinees, he wasn't the only one who thought so.
Izuku had a quirk now so he wouldn't just get ignored if he asked about it, as depressing as that sounded, and he really wanted to know.
But in the end he decided to keep his mouth shut, there was still discrimination against mutant quirks and as much as he hoped that UA was different, he didn't want to risk it.
So he stayed silent as everyone was separated into groups and given tablets.
Unfortunately he had to give good advice for Izumi, but seeing that she looked tired and snappy made up for it.
She must be so stressed with the media and a lawsuit hounding her. He even overheard from Toshinori that One For All wasn't working anymore.
Sucks to be her.
But the import thing was the sheer variety of quirks in the exam!
Izuku knew that there'd be all sorts of quirks at a heroics entrance exam, but it was still a sight to see.
There was a blond who seemed to keep switching between quirks, from watching him Izuku thought that it was a copy quirk most likely. The quirk could probably only last a few minutes, but it wasn't very clear from the video footage. It was such an incredible quirk though! Izuku wanted to know if there was a limit to how many quirks the blond could store, he knew there had to be a limit when he took his own quirk into account.
But he'd need to theorize about that later, he couldn't just put all his focus into one examinee after all!
There was a redhead with a quirk that made his skin turn into something akin to stone, though it looked like he couldn't move while his quirk was active. It seemed like a simple quirk at the surface, but there were still many questions like; did his skin regenerate while in that state? Did the toughness of his skin depend on muscle density? Were those shark teeth of his a part of his quirk? Did his quirk rely on a time limit or his stamina? probably the latter actually.
The next examinee was a boy with purple hair that defied gravity and eyebags that seemed to carry the weight of his sorrowful existence. When Izuku saw him, he thought that the boy had a strong emitter type quirk considering how lanky he looked. But he just grabbed a pipe and tried to attack a robot but chickened out half way, though he did manage stab a pole through one of the eyes eventually and killed it, so kudos to him. From that performance, Izuku guessed a mental quirk or something of the sort.
Although it was pretty disappointing that the guy thought UA wouldn't do this type of thing.
It may be a hero school, but clearly it isn't what the media made it out to be.
