Chapter 10: Training

Unknown Mountain: Outside Of Kuoh

No POV:

Climbing up the side of a mountain we find Rias Gremory and her peerage, they are climbing up this mountain to get to the spot where they will be training for the next 10 days. The reason they will be training up here is because at the end of those 10 days Rias and her peerage will participate in a rating game with a fellow devil, Riser Phenix. The purpose of this rating game is to decide the fate of Rias and her marriage to Riser. If Rias and her peerage wins, she doesn't have to marry Riser, the opposite will happen if they lose. To prevent them from losing, Rias has brought her peerage to this mountain where they will train and get stronger. Little do the members of Rias's peerage know, they'll be having a very special person train them.

"Why are we doing this exactly?" Issei asked complaining as he carried a heavy backpack on his shoulders

"We've come here to help with our training Issei" Rias answered as she continued to walk

"But why here?" Issei asked panting

"Because, its secluded and away from any prying eyes" Akeno answered with a smile

"I'm glad that we get a few days to train but I gotta ask, do we really need it?" Issei asked as he stopped himself from falling over

"You saw Riser's peerage Issei, there's more of them then there is us" Kiba answered as he walked past Issei

"All of them are extremely skilled and powerful especially that bishop of his" Asia said

"If you don't stop complaining and asking questions we won't have enough time to train" Koneko said walking past Issei

"Why does she get to use her evil piece strength when I can't?" Issei asked Rias

"She isn't" Rias answered

"Oh by the way, her bag is heavier then yours" Akeno added with a giggle

Hearing that, Issei became even more motivated to get to the top of the mountain before anyone else

"I'm not going to lose here" Issei said confidently as he picked up the pace in reaching the top

"Nice one" Rias said to Akeno

"Don't mention it" Akeno replied

Small Time Skip

With his newfound motivation, Issei was able to reach the top of the mountain before anyone else. Seeing that he had made it to the top, Issei dropped his bag and let out a sigh of relief.

"I finally made it, that...was hell" Issei said wiping the sweat off his forehead

"If you thought that was hell then you haven't seen anything yet" a voice said

Issei looked up and saw that Y/N was standing there with his arms crossed looking down at him

"Why the hell are you here?" Issei asked surprised

"A few reasons actually" Y/N answered

At that moment Rias and the others finally were able to reach the top and join up with Issei

"I see you found the place well" Rias said walking over to Y/N

"A large almost mansion looking house on the top of the mountain wasn't all that hard to find" Y/N replied
