My first two years of highschool haven't been the dream like experience everyone hopes for. I've been bullied, beaten, and shunned by almost everyone, just for being myself.
But this year, I'll show them what they missed out on, what flew out of their grasp so quickly in just two years. Maybe Senpai will follow suit and finally be mine...FOREVER. Ah, I shouldn't be so impatient. In due time, everything I've ever wanted will be in my hands.
As I sing along to my favorite song, 'Cry For Me' by Twice, I notice the clock from the corner of my eye. Shoot, it's almost time to go to school! I tie my hair back in a low ponytail before grabbing my minimalistic-looking courdroy jacket along with my plain black backpack, adorned with decorative pins and keychains.
Since my parents are out on a business trip, I live alone for now. I shut the blinds and lock every entry door, making the house look uninhabited. My phone slides into my pocket as I latch onto the handle of my bike, going along with my ride to school.

I finally arrived, feeling the breeze of air flow through me as I lock up my bike. As I'm walking to my usual bench, I spot Mahiru seemingly intimidating Hajime to take the "accidental extra bento" she made for him. Such textbook thing to do, I've seen so many girls leave notes or act "quirky" to be secretive and different, but the cat always gets let out of the bag.
"Hajime! Just take the goddamn bento you idiot!" Mahiru says, a slight blush creeping up her face as she breaks eye contact, forcing the bento into the taller boy's hands. Pfft, cringe.
"U-Um, okay.. Thanks, I guess?" Hajime says, unsure of what to think of his childhood friend's behaviour.
"We're gonna be late to class! C'mon, you're always making me off schedule when I come to school with you."
Hajime scratches the back of his neck before saying, "Maybe we shouldn't walk to school together if it bothers you that much.." he says shrugging his shoulders.
"I-I that's not what I meant! J-Just wake up earlier!" The pouting girl almost shouts.
The bell rings, causing me to quickly walk upstairs to my first class. I almost always zone out after finishing my work, which causes me to think... I really need to get rid of her. Her tsundere ways disgust me, every word she says makes me want to vomit. Hmm, maybe befriending her before eliminating her will be the most effective way to make me less suspicious for when she "dissapears."
Our teacher dissmisses us, causing most people to go to lunch, and some to their next class. I somehow get to the table Mahiru sits at with her friends first, and I plan on approaching her to see if I can do anything to gain her trust unknowingly.
"-so yeah, if you'd all want to have a sleepo-" She pauses her sentence as she looks up to me, wondering why I was at "her" table.
"Uh, why are you at my table? Do you need something, or are you just a clueless creep?"
"Oh, I'm going around the school and doing favors and tasks for people, just to help around the school. So I came to where you usually are to see if you were looking for something, etc."
"Well, actually yes! I've been looking for my phone charm for the past two weeks. Do you think you can find it? I lost it in the spooky maze near the garden, and I'm way too scared to go back in there."
I decide to accept, knowing this would greatly create some sort of start to our friendship..
