"Gerard, I don't want a shower," she attempts to protest, digging her heels into the carpet, but, him being  the stronger, she's thrown into the bathroom, with the door closed behind her and locked shut. Lyn stands in the middle of the room, fingers twitching against her stomach. She nibbles on her lip and looks at the door, hearing Gerard's voice come from the other side. She soon hears footsteps go upstairs, making Lyn feel more alone than ever.

Not completely ready to trust Gerard, Lyn quickly undresses and sets her clothes aside, not wanting them to get wet. After all, those were her only clothes. Lyn swallows roughly and steps into the shower, shivering. She keeps a firm hold on her lip as she reaches forward, turning the shower dial. Warm water instantly hits her in the face, causing the younger to stumble a bit. She curses loudly and raises up her hands, rubbing at her eyes.

Several minutes later, Lyn turns off the water, done with her shower. She stands there, frozen for a second, listening. She turns her head to the side, trying to see if Gerard had snuck into the bathroom without her consent. Finding nothing out of the ordinary, Lyn steps out of the shower, instantly starting to shiver. She looks around before reaching for her clothes, not bothering to dry off. She steps into her clothes, welcoming the warmth they brought with them.

Lyn turns on her heel and slowly makes her way over to the bathroom door. She raises up a hand, curling her fingers into a fist. She starts to bang on the door, biting down on her lip. She lowers her hand and swallows roughly. "Gerard?" She takes a step back from the door, staring at the doorknob. "I'm done!" She licks her lips and lowers her head, shaking it. She turns around and looks at herself in the mirror.

She notices that her hair had gotten a bit longer, and her cheek bones were more visible. She had gotten paler, but her eyes still seemed bright and full of life. Lyn wonders how. She sighs and closes her eyes, hanging her head.

A few hours passed slowly.. "You lied, Gerard. I still don't feel at home."

Gerard travels down the stairs to his bedroom around nine o'clock at night. His mother had just got home from the diner, and she told Gerard to stay downstairs for the rest of the night. She was tired, and she was worried that her son might interrupt her slumber. Gerard doesn't mind. He wants to see Lyndsay. He smiles to himself, as he tightens his grip on the plastic baggie full of Cheerios in his right hand, a bag of Synder's Bar-B-Q chips in his left, and two cans of Coke Zero under his arm. He continues down the steps until hitting the carpet on his floor. He goes over to his bed, looking at it for a few moments, before getting down and setting the food items on the floor by his bed. He gets back up, slowly turning his head to look at his bathroom door. He bites his lip. Was Lyn alright?

Gerard takes a deep breath, and he makes his way over to the door, chewing on his bottom lip, like crazy. He reaches out, grabbing the doorknob, turning the lock on it, hearing it click into place from being locked into being unlocked. The black-haired psychopath takes a deep breath, as he pushes the door open and looks inside. "Lynnie?"

She must have dozed off, for when she wakes up, on the cold tile floor, she hears movement in Gerard's bedroom. She whips her head up and quickly rubs at her eyes. She roughly swallows, finding her throat dry. She freezes, listening carefully. She hears someone drop items onto the floor and make their way over to the bathroom. Lyn's eyes widen, and she can practically feel her insides jump in joy. Its the first time Lyn was excited to see the other.

The door opens, revealing Gerard with a look of concern on his face. Lyn lets out a squeal as she crawls over to the older, wrapping her arms around his legs. "Oh, God, Gerard. I thought you weren't coming back," she said, her voice hoarse and scratchy. And then, Lyn finds herself saying something she thought she would never say:
