"So let me guess." Damon Salvatore started with a devious grin as he poured drinks for the men in the library, his senses prickling with awareness with the Original vampire behind them. They were alone at the moment, a thought that surprisingly had him on the edge. Not that his demeanor showed it. "In addition to the moon stone, The doppelgänger, the lion, the witch and the wardrobe, you need to find this witch burial ground."
"Because I feel as though we've grown so close, Damon," Elijah's voice was almost sarcastic. " I'll tell you yes. Do you know where it is?"
"Maybe." Damon allowed as he turned to hand a glass cognac to the Original vampire who graciously took it before bidding a small nod of thanks. "Tell me why it's so important."
"We're are not that close." Elijah cast the younger vampire a look before swiftly turning on the ball of his feet and directing his gaze to the shelves of books. "It's quite a collection you have here."
Damon hummed his agreement, keeping his eyes trained on the Original who had turned his back to him as he slowly and very carefully produced the silver dagger from behind the tray of glasses .
"It's a funny thing about books." Elijah muttered lowly, sounding almost sad. "Before they existed, people actually had memories."
There was a distinct sound of approaching footsteps and then Andie and Alaric came bustling through the door, prompting the older Salvatore Brother to swiftly hide the dagger once more.
"Gentlemen, we forgot about dessert." Alaric mustered a small gulp of air.
"Elijah." Andie smiled flirtatiously up at the said male, extending a hand for him to take.
