ALEAH GILBERT COULDN'T BELIEVE
IT. SHE WOULDN'T BELIVE IT. EVEN IF SHE WAS SEEING IT —— READING IT

It was well past noon the following day when Stefan Salvatore found himself causally skipping away stones on the docks of the Gilbert Lake House. It was an action needed to pass the time Elena had claimed as her own with her sister.

The twins has been engaged in troubled and
silent whispers all morning and Stefan couldn't
help but suspect they were forming more suicidal plans concerning Klaus and the sacrifice.

His internal dilemma was brought back to an
abrupt halt when his phone blared to life. He
pulled the offending object from his pockets
and frowned when he found his older brothers
name flashing across the screen. "What's going
on?"

"Well I showered." Damon chimed across the
line, sounding far to chipper for Stefan to believe
even a hint of it was true. It couldn't be. Not when Aleah was away from him and with his younger brother. "I shaved. Had breakfast. Very relaxed."

"That makes one of us." Stefan muttered as he pressed his phone more firmly to his ear, his hazel
eyes casting a look towards the lake house kitchen where he caught sight of Aleah deftly smearing a streak of what appeared to be cream across her twins face.

"I do have one piece of good news." Damon
stated and this time he sounded positively
gleeful. "Tyler Lockwood ran away from
home last night."

Stefan frowned. "How do you know?"

Damon took a breath as if preparing himself mentally for the long explanation he was about
to give. "Well I heard it from Sheriff Forbes, who heard it from a very distraught Carol Lockwood, thus, ending our werewolf chapter. That and he happened to drop by Aleahs house last night to deliver the sappiest goodbye I've ever heard."
