"Allow you to take care of Zuki? How is that even possible?" you asked.

Chifuyu nodded, "I believe it's possible, we can take care of Zuki" although he didn't really know how to start that kind of deal. He just wanted Zuki and he knew that Zuki wanted him too.

You thought of something like parenthood. You know, like how parents take care of their children. "But we're 13 years old!" you said out loud. "You can take care of a cat even if you're both 13," Baji said.

"Baji-san's right, you and I can have Zuki for a week. Is it okay?" Zuki was just licking her paws while you three were talking. "Besides, it's not like your school is far from mine" Chifuyu added.

And just as you were about to speak, someone called for Chifuyu and Baji. "Guys! Let's go!" they were a bunch of chaotic people.

"Y/n?" you turned your gaze on one of them. "Oh, Hina" you smiled at her.

"You know her?" Chifuyu asked.

"Yeah, we live in the same apartment building and our moms are friends"

Somehow, Chifuyu felt glad. 'Does that mean she's also close with Takemichi?' he thought. If he was a cat, curiosity would've killed him. "But I never saw her with them..." he wasn't aware of what he was saying since he thought he was just thinking. "It's because I barely got time to go out," you said.

"Anyways, Y/n-chan what are you doing here?" Hina questioned. "I came here to pick up my cat."

"Our cat-" Chifuyu got cut off.

"Huh? Zuki is mine."

"But I named her."

"You named her after a motorcycle, just what are you thinking?"

"You guys are looking like a married couple arguing..." Hina sheepishly smiled as people who were with her started chuckling.

You scratched your head and pulled Zuki from Chifuyu. "Stop it, it's not like that. I'm going home, so see you all tomorrow."

But you just stood there instead of walking away, it was because Chifuyu was having those puppy eyes. He took a bath with Zuki and did his everyday routine with her. Even his mom already took a liking to Zuki, though she was dumbfounded when her son brought the cat home, "Chifuyu, what is this again?" his mom's eyebrows raised and he just sheepishly smiled at his mother.

"But, Y/n... I didn't know you have a cat-" You face-palmed at Hina. 'You could've just at least shut your mouth...'

Chifuyu panicked. "So she doesn't know how to take care of Zuki? No wonder you lost her! Can't I just take her home for now?"

"As I said, I can take care of her!"

"How?"

The next thing you knew, silence. 'This shit is embarrassing... Mom come pick me up I'm scared' Hence, everyone, including you had no presence. "Y/n-chan, do you know how?" Baji questioned you, even with his mad-looking expression, you could really tell he was gentle as you slowly shook your head.

"You should come to Chifuyu's place, he can teach you how. So that he can also entrust Zuki to you." Chifuyu's ears flushed, "Baji-san..."

"Fine, let's go." You grabbed Chifuyu's arm and started walking away from them.

As you both were walking, you didn't know which way to go to Chifuyu's apartment. You looked at him whilst he was just holding himself from smiling. "What? You pulled me here, where are we supposed to go?"

Was that a sign? Of what kind of direction perhaps? "Where else? Do you want to take care of Zuki or nah?"

"Oh, so we're going to my place? You should've told me sooner, this is a wrong way–"

"I'm home..." Chifuyu said the moment he opened the door to his apartment, no one seemed to be home so he just let Zuki wander around and welcomed you.

Thousands of thoughts ran into his mind, not knowing what to do first. "If only Baji-san is here." crap, he said it out loud again, unaware. He couldn't turn to look at you. "Do you feel uncomfy? It's okay, just tell me and I'll leave–"

"No, I said Baji also lives in this building..." a relief, I guess? You just shrugged it off although you clearly heard him. "So, where should we start?" you asked.

"Let's start by feeding her." Chifuyu then grabbed a food bowl and a can of cat food. "How do you know these kinds of stuff?"

"I have a cat before so I'm used to it... –alright, since we're not yet sure of her appetite today, start by putting a little amount. Then just add if you think she still wants some. You can also feed her at any time so you can also observe her eating habits." you bobbed your head.

You understood what he was telling you as you started asking questions. "But I can also feed her at the same time as I eat, right?" he hummed, "Yeah, don't forget to give her water or milk."

"I'll go get her then." you went to the kitchen sink and put water on the other bowl. You tried walking slowly, not to spill the water when you accidentally tripped on the corner of the table. Completely spilling all the water. "Uh-oh... I'm so sorry! I'll clean this up right away!–"

Chifuyu began to chuckle as he stood up from squatting. "Not like that, you can just get a cup of water then pour it into the bowl. I'll clean it"

"Also, give her a bath once every 4-6 weeks," he added. "Noted–" you both suddenly heard the front door creaked.

"Chifuyu, I'm home–" your e/c orbs met another pair coming from a lady standing by the door. "Welcome home, mom." Chifuyu greeted. "Eh? Looks like we have a visitor"
