Gulf looked at the man infront of him and his heart stopped beating and his brain suddenly froze. He felt his breath caught in his throat as he gaped openly. He was most certainly a very good looking man. Wavy black hair ruffled on his head. His prominent nose subtly indicates the possibility of mixed blood running in his system and his cheek bones were sharp enough to cut glass. He had amber eyes framed by long dark eyelashes and thin red lips that looked invitingly kissable. On top of all this the man also had an unusually veiny forearm and long sexy fingers.
What wonders could those fingers do?
Gulf licked his lips, blinking a few times because he was having inappropriate thoughts about the wedding planner while his fiancée was standing right next to him gripping his fingers.
"Hello, nice to meet you!" the wedding planner said flashing a professional yet breathtaking smile.
Pam offered her hand first, and he shook her hand elegantly before moving to shake Gulf's
hand. Why were Gulf's hand suddenly so fucking sweaty and gross?
"I'm Mew Suppasit, wedding planner. welcome aboard!" he continued cheerfully, gesturing for Gulf and Pam to take a seat in front of the desk.
"I'm Pam Chaimongkol, this is my fiancee Gulf Kanawut."
Pam introduced them both
smoothly, crossing her legs and freeing Gulf's hand.Mew's eyes shifted to Gulf and they stood staring at each other for a few seconds. It left Gulf a little breathless and hot under the collar.
What the fuck was going on with him? Was he having a heat stroke?
He was wearing too many clothes, truth be told, and the air in the office was kind of stuffy and warm."Nice to meet you both." Mew continued, grinning as if they haven't been in a staring contest just mere seconds ago and he hasn't been checking out Gulf from head to toe.
"What can I do for you today?""We want you to help us plan my wedding" Pam said but when Mew's eyes fleeted to
Gulf for a second, she corrected herself awkwardly. "Our wedding.""Well, I'm here to help. I'm at your disposition. Let me make a few wild guesses regarding you both and see if I'm fit for your needs." he cleared his throat and hummed lightly.
"You are childhood friends. Or, at some point, you have been best friends. You have the sort of familiarity that doesn't happen often, not even between long-term couples.
You, Pam want a big lavish wedding, traditional even. Something that'll make the people talk and applaud you for your choices in venue, flowers, cake etcetera, etcetera. Your fiancee on the other hand wants a small wedding, also traditional, but not too flashy. Something that'll make him happy, not make people talk. Despite the difference, both of you want a spring wedding. Maybe late March - beginning of April? When all of the flowers are in full blossom, when it's warm, but not too warm to get uncomfortable.
Somewhere outside. Somehwere with a lake, maybe? And a beautiful flower-y garden in front of you. Expensive yet stylish. How am I doing so far?""You got it absolutely correct" Pam smiled brightly, apparently content with the answers.
"Years and years of experience" Mew winked then continued.
"Look, I know this is a serious commitment, both for you guys, because you know, you are getting married after all and I totally understand where you're coming from. You want everything to be perfect. I can guarantee you that everything will be perfect, because not to sound boastful about it, I am the best in the business. You don't have to make a decision right now, but you'll have
to make a decision by the end of the week at least and let me know"He took one of his business cards and turned it over to write something
on it. "This is my card and on the back I wrote my personal number so you can reach me and not be bothered with Mayra."Pam took the card and stood up, making Gulf copy her movements.
"I look forward to working for you and planning you the perfect wedding." Mew said as a departure shaking their hands.
Gulf bit his lip, turning around to sneak one last glance at the handsome wedding planner.
He was surprised to see that Mew was looking after him as well.
What a fucking mess!
🥀🥀🥀
Why could he still see that Client's face?
Mew didn't understand. His heart was still beating erratically even after finishing his first, and second, and third cup of tea, and his mind was even more jumbled than before.
What really struck Mew was not just the man's obvious good looks but the warmth of his eyes. His brown eyes feels like the beautiful dew on an autumn leaf. They spoke of softness and compassion.Mew didn't know what this was he was feeling?
He felt an unknown ache in his heart when he thought back to Pam interwinig her fingers with Gulf.
It didn't make sense: he'd never felt that way before. He'd seen similar scenes countless times, but he'd never felt this pain. This kind of longing. What was different now?Why was he feeling possessive of someone who was not even his?
Mew gulped.Fuck!
THIS WAS NOT GOOD.Whatever this was, it was not good at all.
