Back into the fic feels! This is kinda bad because I'm starving and I wanna get food but finish this first so I was just rushing and hangry lmao. I'm also working on a super long angsty oneshot so take advantage of all the fluff/humor fics you're getting while they last ;) SORRY! But enjoy this one~

Bruce was a pretty chill dude. He didn't find a lot of things annoying or get bothered by a lot, even when Tony forgot to come by the lab for their building sessions (unless Bruce was having a particularly bad day).

But when people used him? Yep, that got him.

It didn't happen a lot in the past of course, since no one knew he was the Hulk, but after he became part of the Avengers, everything changed, and not for the better. It was always "Bruce, I need you to Hulk out for this mission" or "Bruce, go away, this is dangerous since we don't need the Hulk". Unless it was a serious medical issue that he needed to play doctor for, which rarely happened, or when Tony finally remembered he existed every three weeks and wanted to build something before leaving almost immediately afterwards (to count his vodkas, probably), there was nothing for Bruce Banner himself to do.

Even Peter Parker, the new teenage recruit who made his own suit and had old goggles and called everyone ma'am or sir, was more of use than him. Even though the kid seemed okay, sweet, even, Bruce couldn't help but feel a little salty that it wasn't him fighting up there. Sure, he wasn't a super soldier and didn't have assassin skills and couldn't shoot a bow and wasn't a literal god, but he could definitely build a real suit for himself and help out.

But that was for later, because right now, Bruce had to fix the entire MedBay because Tony had a party last night and got sorta drunk and ended up bringing a woman up here....and now Bruce has to sanitize everything properly.

Like, seriously, why the MedBay, Stark?

Suddenly, heavy footsteps started to sound, breaking Bruce out of his thoughts. He turned to find the one and only Peter Parker, with a tall, burly Asian kid behind him, out of breath and holding a red piece of clothing in his hand that was probably the one and only Spider-Man suit.

"Hey, uh, Dr. Banner! I need your help, please help me it's kinda urgent!" He said, waving his arms everywhere. The other kid nodded frantically when Bruce looked at him, confused.

The doctor looked back at Peter. Of course, it was a Hulk matter. It always was. He tried to tamper down the disappointment in him. It's okay, right? "Hey kid, take a deep breath, okay? And besides, the Hulk just hasn't been f--"

But before he could finish, Peter tossed away his suit, and Bruce looked up, confused. "Dr. Banner me and Ned have a science project due tomorrow and we're presenting it front of the whole class and I was patrolling last night please please help me--"

Bruce's eyes widened. "Wait, so you don't need the Hulk?"

Peter and Ned looked at each other, confused. "Uh, no, not that we know of."

Finally. This was the day. "You hear that, big dude?" Bruce said to the Hulk, who didn't reply. He was definitely sulking.

Ned was looking at him like he was crazy, so he should probably stop talking to what seemed like himself.

"So, Dr. Banner, you'll help us?"

"Sure." His voice cracked, and he cleared his throat. What was getting into him?

But as he followed the boys outside, Bruce realized that he really didn't dislike Peter Parker at all.

If you don't like Bruce pitying himself in this one, I'm soRRY. I was kinda emotionally dumping on him like I do with all fictional characters :D LOVE YOU GUYS!
