21 ~ Jealousy

I quickly open the door he just closed. "Wait, Kihyun!"

Kihyun turns around. "Yeah?"

"You can't leave!", I exclaim. "If you leave, we won't be able to gamble again!"

"Didn't I tell you?", Kihyun asks. "I'm quitting. I reunited with some old friends and they made me realize what a complete mess my life is. So I'm gonna attempt to fix it."

"Old friends...?"

Kihyun nods. "Wonho and Hyungwon. Mentioned it before, but I kinda told them I'm a lawyer..."

Wonho and Hyungwon? Hyungwon, isn't that the guy in the bar? And I'm pretty sure Wonho was the name of his boyfriend.

The puzzle pieces fall together as I recall my conversation with Hyungwon.
I told him I wanted to play with Kihyun again. He told me he knew someone named Kihyun, but "The Kihyun I know isn't a gambler".

"Oh, alright", I respond. "That's okay, I understand..."

Kihyun POV

"I got you car keys", I say, holding them up infront of my friend when I entered our hotel room. "We can leave now."

Yoongis expression changes slightly.
"Uhh, yeah, about that", he starts. "I changed my mind. We can't leave."

I look at him. "Why not?"

"I need to stay for a while for... work reasons."

"Work reasons?", I repeat. "Yoongi, you haven't even told me what you work with!"

"Because you'd look at me differently if I did!", Yoongi defends.

"Of course not!", I insist. "You're my best friend."

"Okay", Yoongi begins. "I'm a sugarbaby."

I freeze. "A what...?"

Yoongi sighs. "I have a sugardaddy who I-"

"No, I know what it means!", I exclaim. "It's just... how? And why?"

"I told you I met this guy", Yoongi explains. "I told him I needed money. He had money and he thought I was cute. Now I have already got enough money to pay for my debts, but I kinda... I kinda caught feelings."

"You what...", I say, trying to process everything he just told me. "You know what? I need some air. Like, now!"

I turn around and rush out from our room.

"Kihyun, hi!", Hyungwons voice calls from the bar as I run downstairs.

I smile at the boyfriends. "What are you up to?"

"I just came to visit Wonnie at the bar", Wonho answers, giving Hyungwon a kiss on the cheek.

Hyungwon smiles. "Do you want a drink, Kihyun? It's on the house."

I nod. "Thanks, Hyungwon."

Hyungwon hands me the drink with a small smile. But something about his smile looks a little... forced.
