It was a sunny day.

The fields, full of life.

With beautiful flowers and beautiful rivers that cut through the endless fields.

The sun shimmered beautifully on the flowers that had dew on the petals due to the storm from last night.

And there I was, painting the beautiful scenery.

I was settled on my back porch with a canvas and a paintbrush in my hands.

"Belle!"

I yelled, " Coming Mother!"

One of my maids Helen, held a basket in her hands said, " No its not your mother, its just me. I just have a question. "

Putting down my brush, I followed her inside glanced at my painting and that it was finished, and Helen and I sat down in the Drawing Room together.

"Well, what is it?"

Helen nervously played with her apron, explained, " Well, your father is heading out of town to a foreign Royal Gala. And he would like for you to come, since you have a liking towards his job of being a detective, he requests you bring a notebook, and a few of your travelling items on your trip with him."

I asked, " How many days?"

Helen gulped said, " W-Well, its more than days... He'll be in the foreign country for a few months actually,"

I said, " O-Oh..."

She said, " Yes, would you like to visit his office to talk to him about it?"

Standing up, I said, " That'd be nice,"

"Father?"

Peeking from behind the door, there he was behind his desk, with multiple papers around him and a few books sprawled open.

He asked, " Oh, hello Belle, what is it you want?"

I stood at his desk resting my fingertips against the dark oak wood, said, " I just would like to speak with you about your trip your inviting me to join,"

Taking off his glasses he asked, " Did Helen tell you already?"

I nodded said, " I've- never been away from home before..."

He said, " I know, but this is a chance for you to- experience something new. And it is involved in something you aspire to be, do you really not want to join me?"

I shuffled nervously said, " I didn't say that, but its just- kind of overwhelming. Can I at least think it over? Whens the leaving date?"

He said, " On Friday, is that enough time for you?"

I said, " Yes, but-"

I sat on the chaise near the window, said, " Okay, uhm- what are you doing when we leave?"

He asked, " We?"

I said, " Well, I don't want to think it over- I don't really need to and if leaving on this trip will help me become a detective and historian in a way, I'll gladly come along. But, what will we do when we get there?"

He said, " Explore, travel, and learn a breif history and lessons deep into history, on the country. All when we attend their Spring Gala and other places I'll take you,"

My eyes lit up in excitement.

This...

Is just what I dreamed of.

And I get the opportunity to become the person I was born to be!

Then...

Why am I so afraid?

I should be willing to sacrifice some things if thats what it'll take to get what I want.

Even if it means leaving home...

Father stared at me asked, " Well?"

I said, " I'll go with you,"

He smiled stood said, " Wonderful! I'll let everyone know and we'll begin packing tonight, we'll be leaving tomorrow morning!"

He excitedly walked out clapping his hands excitedly.

I breathed happily.

Walking upstairs Helen following, I decided to get started on packing for our trip.
