Prompt: Mismatched.

TW: none!

He wore mismatched socks.
His old tennis shoes were all beaten up,
Pick a book from his shelf with a gentle pluck,
He wore mismatched socks.
His cloudy glasses barely stayed on his nose,
The lenses tinted with a gentle rose,
He wore mismatched socks.
Warm sweaters and hoodies hugged him tight,
Keeping him warm through the cold night,
While he cuddled in mismatched socks.
His face was bright as moonlit lakes,
His eyes a golden storm.
But one could say,
Basic folks were scared away,
By his funny mismatched socks.
