Yaku Morisuke - Fever

I decided to go with Yaku this time, the boy got my attention while I was watching Haikyuu: OVA episode 4.

SECOND PERSON'S POV

Yaku likes keeping company with you though you two are just classmates and friends. Every time you went to the gym, he will constantly welcome you with a bright smile on his face. You brought him lunches and towels so he don't get sick. You looked after him as a friend but he sees you more than that.

You also have a crush on Yaku, like he's caring, sweet, and acts like your boyfriend though you two aren't dating. He likes teasing you and hanging out with you because according to him, you are funny to be with.

Today you woke up with a massive headache, You tried to move your body but it was too heavy. You sigh in annoyance because you realized that you have a fever. You remembered what happened yesterday at the gym.

"Oi, Hanami-chan. You're sweaty already, go change first" Kuroo said before walking back to the team. You looked at your sweaty uniform, but unluckily you don't have any extra clothes to wear.

After the practice, you waited for Yaku on the bench a few meters outside the gym when it rained suddenly. You ran fast as you could to the waiting shed and sat on there. Your clothes are soaked and you can't do anything about it.

When Yaku saw you, he scolded you for being so stubborn and careless. He gave you his club jacket and you gladly accepted it. You went home still soaked and then you passed out in bed.

When you snapped back into reality, you touched your head and closed your eyes. You stayed on your bed and thought about how to solve your problem. You suddenly heard the door open. It was your mom, she got worried since you didn't go downstairs.

"Are you ok, Hanami?" She came near to you and touched your forehead. You are freaking burning.

"You have a fever, you can't go to school now. Don't worry, I'll call your teacher to inform her" She said and left your room to prepare some soup and medicine.

You picked up your phone and messaged Kenma that you have a fever and you can't go to school today. Gladly he responded that he will tell Kuroo and Yaku about your current condition now.

Since it's very boring inside your room and your head hurts like hell, you tried to fall asleep but damn Hypnos is not merciful today. You have to face the consequences of your actions yesterday and get tortured by a raging headache.

Your mom came into your room and brought the soup, some medicines, and a wet towel inside a basin. You ate the soup before taking the medicine. After that, your mom placed the towel on your head. You slowly lay down and let the darkness conquer your eyes and mind.

After many hours of laying and doing nothing on your bed, you tried to get up but again you ended up falling on the floor. You gently touched your face and rubbed it. That was a dumb move.

Your mother came into your room again, holding a piece of towel in her left hand and a bowl in her right hand. She immediately put those down and pulled out the thermometer in her pocket. she placed it under your arm to check your temperature.

"Oh, the temperature is slowly going normal, but you're still having the fever," She said and gave you the bowl she brought.

It was ramen, one of your favourite foods. You immediately eat the noodles and thanked her for taking care of you. She smiled at you and said "I forgot" you raised your eyebrows and looked at her with a questioning facial expression.

"What is it mom?" you asked. She smiled at you while you just sat there confused.

"Yaku called a while ago that he will come hereafter their practice and he just arrived. He's been currently downstairs" your mom said as you blushed and covered your face. You felt your heart race as you think about it, you looked at your mom once more.

"You're joking right?" you said, you two were just friends so bitch calm down, it's normal to visit your friends while they're sick.

"Well, I'm not" she walked out of your room. You hide inside your blanket and silently scream like an idiot. You breathe in and out while holding your chest.

You heard the door open so you looked at who opened it. When you saw his face you're blushing like a tomato again. It was him, Yaku.

"Hey, Hanami, I heard from Kenma and Kuroo that you had a fever so I came here after our practice," He said while looking at you also blushing.

"Ooh r-really? Thanks, I appreciate your presence" You felt butterflies inside your stomach, you can't believe that he had just come here to visit you. As your head move downwards, you tried to look at him but something caught his attention.

"Oh, I almost forgot to give this to you," He said as he gives you the bag that he's been holding for a while.

"What's inside of this?" You asked while smiling at him. He just smiled back and said "It's for you to find out" and came near you. He sat on the bed beside you.

As you opened the bag, you found a bento box. You smiled because you know what was inside of the lunch box. You slowly uncovered the box and saw the stir-fried vegetables that you love. You smelled the savoury aroma of the vegetables that you've been longing to eat.

"Oh my gosh, thank you for this!" You were so happy that you almost hugged him, you forgot that you have a fever.

"No problem Hanami, I love you" shock was written on your face as you look at him with your hands on your mouth. When he realized what he just said he immediately looked away.

"You know, I've been keeping these feelings for many months now and I think... I love you too..." As you look at him you can see the sparkles in his eyes that indicate joy. He slowly hugged you and said "I've liked you before but now I love you" you smile at his response. Your internal organs scream inside and your heart races fast.

You instantly backed away when you realized that you are sick and you don't want him to get sick too

"Oh, I'm sorry," you said as you looked at him.

"It's ok, I have a strong immune system," he said, he gave you a reassuring look and a thumbs up.

"You lovebirds need to go downstairs the dinner is ready" your mom interrupted you two, Yaku stood so you followed him and headed to the kitchen.

Well, being sick is not that bad as long as someone sends you some food and love after all.
