I came up with a clever idea for you guys, so maybe just a spoiler alert! It's going to be angsty.

SECOND PERSON'S POV

Back then when you were in high school, you used to date with the volleyball star Atsumu Miya. You fell in love with him, not just because of his looks or talent but because he's kind and friendly to you. You two go on dates and have fun together. He'll walk you to your house and always says 'I love you' everytime your eyes meet.

You were the ideal couple, you two got all the happiness, love and care. Having him in your life is such a blessing. He promised that he would marry you in the future and that made you very happy. Just thinking about your future family together makes you cry in joy, which motivated you to study harder and support him in his dreams.

Atsumu is kind of a perfectionist guy, he works hard to make his tosses and serves flawless though he constantly argues with his twin brother Osamu. He and Osamu have been the perfect duo ever since childhood, they do things together and fight with each other but will make up after. Since Osamu and you are friends, you three sometimes hang out together with Osamu being the third wheel. They are fun to be with, their bickerings were just so loud but still funny to watch not until they start to fight physically with you being the mediator.

Lately, he became so engrossed with volleyball. He spent his time practising, practising and practising. He forgot about you but you'll just shrug it off because it's his passion, why stop him? But he's so addicted to the game to the point that he forgot your existence which hurt you. Sometimes between your talks, he'll eventually talk about volleyball instead of asking you how is your day. Forgot to text you, and say I love you. It wasn't a big deal but he did this all the time.

Until that one faithful night of spring break during your third year in Inarizaki High, Atsumu Miya decided to break up with you. It was hard to accept. He said that he'll pursue his volleyball career and work hard to be one of the National Team players. You said that you can be with him and support him through his career but...

"I'm sorry, Mina. Being with you is... A distraction." That made your heart shatter into pieces.

"But, I can m-manage, I promise! Just d-don't leave me, please" you said while your tears are falling. You hold his hand one last time but he pushed you away.

"My decision is final. I'm sorry. I have to leave" he left you crying. You're so broken that you felt your knees weaken and just sat on the side of the road.

"Atsumu! Just listen to me, please!" You cried to him but he never looked back.

After your official break-up, you cried your eyes out, day and night. It took you long to move on from the man who broke your heart. Since you and Osamu still keep in touch with each other after high school, he helped you to move forward and forget his jerk twin brother.

You and Osamu hang out and go on date though you aren't dating, just a friendly date. You love to eat onigiris and go to parks together. Atsumu knew nothing about his brother hanging out and still befriending his ex. Osamu didn't tell him about you and him, because from his perspective, it's his own life and no one can judge him for his actions.

After a few years of you and Osamu hanging out and Atsumu not knowing his brother's intentions, Osamu finally confessed his love to you that you happily accepted. He promised that he will make you the happiest person alive.

One night, Osamu decided to introduce you to his family, he will finally tell Atsumu what lies between you and him. He picked you up in your apartment and went to his parent's house. He kept it as a surprise to his mom, dad and his twin of course. When you arrived at their house, nostalgic memories flood you again but it doesn't matter now, you are with Osamu not with Atsumu.
