"YOU-YOU'RE AN IDIOT!" He stomped out of the room just like that. But just before he had left, I noticed something on his head. The percentages on how much the liked me. Or maybe hated me. It was at 0%. I still have a long way to go..
(Athena's/Davina's POV)
'No.. No way.. I feel like this is all real.. It's not a dream. Oh my god.'
I pinch my pink skin for the 6th time today to re-confirm
"What the hell..This is bad.. Is this reincarnation? Did I...die? Is this okay? I mean I hated the shitty life I was living anyway but..could Davina Blaine's life be any better..?"I sigh to myself as I look in the mirror.
"CEO's daughter, huh.. Overall the mean, selfish, villainess. And the fact that these people have assassins give me chills. They can kill me. Any time. Without hesitation. Why? Because I'm just a worthless adopted girl who has no place in this family. No different from my own life. I have to be careful. I already know how to play this game, and the events..or at least the ones for the next 10 days or so. I have to figure out a strategy until then and not get myself killed. I'll be fine..-"
Knock Knock
"Hey! Little Roach! Come out of your nest already, we have a meeting to attend to with father. Oi! you in there? I'm coming in." I saw the door handle swing down, but thankfully, I reached there in time to keep it still. Seriously, no privacy. Like chill with the coming-into-my-room-thing.
"The fuck." I could hear the guy from the other side say.
"I'm changing, I'm changing!" I yelled, even though I was already done.
"Hurry the hell up." I pressed my ears to the wall and could hear his footsteps walk away.
'Who was that?'
"Where am I supposed to go..should I have just opened the door at that time..?" I mumbled to myself.
Now that I think about it..that guy called me a 'little roach'- didn't he..? I'm sure that one of the brothers used to call Davina that...Ethan. So it was Ethan."Davina, where are you going? You're supposed to go this way. What's wrong with that head of yours? You've been living here since you were 6." He glared at me.
'It's Elijah. I know he's supposed to be a really cold character but sheeesh bro, I'm your little sister.'
"I was lost in thought. I apologize." With my experience in playing this game, Davina bullies the people who work in the estate and anyone who gets in her way. Even her own siblings, but not her father, since apparently, she's too afraid. According to the story, for the first few years, she was a total sweetheart and nice to everyone. But nobody ever welcomed her properly into the Blaine family anyway, so she got sick and tired of it all, and started being rude and disrespectful. So now her family, everyone in the estate, and the people who live in the cities close by think she's a spoiled brat who throws tantrums all the time.
"Tch. Whatever." And he walked off towards a door. I follow him.
Click. Clack. Click. Clack. Halt.
'Huh? He stopped? Why?'
"Davina Blaine. Why are you following me into my office?"
'HIS OFFICE-?! SHIT-'
"I um...I forgot..the way?" I fidgeted nervously. "I hit my head hard earlier today..so I'm starting to forget things.."
He narrowed his eyes at me suspiciously.
"And you didn't tell anyone?" I shook my head in response. He laughed at this and with a smirk, said,
"So you're saying that I'm supposed to believe that you, Davina Blaine, the whining, attention seeking brat of the Blaines', hit her head and did not cause a huge commotion?"
'...this guy...was Davina actually like that?'
I looked down and nodded anyway.
"Pfff..."
And he burst into laughter. I was honestly shocked. We're talking about the Elijah Blaine here. Possibly the coldest, most monotone person on Earth. On the other hand, I was upset. Upset for Davina. I felt so bad. These brothers were the worst. At this point, I was disgusted to just look at Elijah's face. So you know what I did? I turned my back on him and walked away. And he had the damn audacity to grab me by my shoulder, still laughing but managed to get the word 'wait' out. I was pissed off and I hate being touched when I'm mad. So I slapped his hand off and stared at him with the most disgusted face I could make.
"You're the worst." I mumbled out.
I saw his face changing from the laughing one to a serious, shocked expression. I walked away from him, and this time, he didn't grab my shoulder.Somehow I managed to reach the room where I was supposed to be in by the help of a butler. He was a bit rude and disrespectful, but it's fine. He's just a background character at the end of the day.
'Why did I even do that back there? I'm supposed to avoid getting killed. But somehow, I feel relived that I did that.'
I smiled at myself. It must really suck to have brothers like this, Davina.
'Can't deny the fact that all of them are really good looking guys though.'
"Okay, all thr- I mean four of you are here. Good. Let's go then, we don't want to be late." My fa..Cough cough..Davina's so-called father spoke with a very stern expression. We all got into the limo without a word, and for the first time I got to see Ethan, the second oldest brother. I didn't know what I was expecting. He looked fine as fuck. So attractive. Eye catching. Beautiful. Handsome. No words. I hope I'm not blushing too much.
It's been only three minutes since we all got into the limo, and it's been the most awkward silence that I've ever encountered in my life. Three minutes felt like three hours. And as if things weren't bad enough, I made eye contact with Elijah. Embarrassing. But what I did notice, was that his 0% had gone up to 0.5%. Which I didn't think was possible but okay, acceptable. Samuel's one was still 0%. Ethan? It was -30%. I know. HOW. WHAT DID DAVINA EVER DO TO HIM. This sucks. The worst.
(A/N- Sorry lmao I think I'm copying villains are destined to die too much)
