Prompt: "I don't wanna die"

It was just a normal race-weekend, except for the fact that they where driving at Spa. On one of the prettiest but also most dangerous tracks on the callendar. Non-racing fans might jut see it as a normal track, where nothing 'bad' happened, but that's not what Spa is. Every time  someone sped up in that corner everyone went quiet, the memory's flooded back, the tears welled up in his friends' eyes. They missed him.

It really hard for Arthur, seeing his boyfriend, the boy he loved, drive on that track. That very track where his brother's best friend died, that track where exactly the same cold happen to his boyfriend, brother or anyone else honestly, was terrifying.

* 28 August 2021 *

That morning Arthur woke IP pretty early. The sight of his adorable boyfriend laying in his arms made his heart melt, but didn't get his worry away. He was scared something would happen to the heaven sent boy in his arms.

He knew it would've been impossible for him to live without Lando. His love, his, boyfriend, his milk boy. His Lando.

After Lando had also woken up and got out of bed (which took a while since he wanted to cuddle), they had breakfast and walked to the track. Lando coukd feel something was wrong with Arthur, but he was way to focused on the preparing for FP and Qualifying to ask him about it.

When it was finally time for FP3, Lando climbed in his car and drove out. It was raining a small bit, but nothing serious, FP3 went quite well- to not say very well. Lando got P4, which was awesome.

A bit after FP3 Qualifying also started, the rain got badder by the minute. Lando drove out as Arthur's heart started racing just as fast as Lando's car.

Lando drove a few laps, but the rain didn't calm down. Even Sebastian already complained about the FIA not waving the red flag yet.

Arthur stared at the big screen, searching for his boyfriend. He saw Lando drive up the Raidillon, but instead of him driving further safely...

He didn't drive further at all. Everyone went quiet, the Monegasque mumbling some French words under his breath, trying to calm himself down.

Luckily, Seb pulled up next to Lando. Making sure he was alright before driving further.

He was okay. That's all that mattered right now.

A few minutes later the car wreck got pulled onto the truck and Lando got back to the garage with the safety car.

Once Lando entered the garage Arthur jumped on his arms, hugging him tight, scared to let go. "I- I tought you.. I.. I tought-" Arthur mumbled as a stuttering, terrifyed mess.

"Shh, it's okay. I'm here. I'm okay. I'm not going anywhere." Lando whispered as he rubbed the younger one's back. "I.. tought you died" Arthur mumbled as a so escaped his throat, his arms wrapped tightly around Lando.

"I don't want to die yet Arthur. I want to live a happy life with you, and we will." Lando said as Arthur pressed his lips against Lando's soft ones.

"I love you, please never leave me" Arthur looked up to Lando "I love you to Arthur, and I won't ever leave you".

Lando kept his promise, years later Lando and Arthur where till together. Happily married with a kid.
