27, Lando Norris x Charles Leclerc

Tw: Panic, angst

Third person pov:

Once again Lando was shaking, his mouth murmuring a few barely audible words, his bedsheets were wet and sticky from the sweat, his hair slicked again his forehead from the sweat too.

Lando woke up with a loud gasp as he started crying, being closer to a panic attack then ever.

"If you ever need me Lando, call me.. Please." Charles' words from a few weeks ago rang through his head.

With all the strength he still had in his small shaking body he got up to take his phone and placed a hand on the wall to slowly let himself slide down against it.

He called Charles. His phone rang once, then twice and finally a third time before Charles picked up.

"Lando what's wrong?" Charles' worried voice asked, it was 2 in the morning so that explains why he was so worried "Nightmares... please... come" Lando shakily let out. Charles hung the phone up and ran down the hotel they both stayed in that night towards Lando's room.

"Lando? Lando could you please try and open the door for me" Charles said quite loudly but not all to loud to not wake up the other people who stayed at the hotel.

Lando crawled on the floor until he reached the door, he opened it and collapsed on the floor again. The sobs escaping his mouth, his shaking body, his sweaty hair... It all ripped Charles' heart out, see his young bestfriend suffer on his own like that... It was painful to see.

"Shh, it's okay Lando, I'm here" Lando slowly nodded at the older one's voice. Lando's breathing was still heavy and way to fast so Charles tried to help him with that, "Could you try to follow my breathing?" Charles asked and once again Lando slowly nodded. After a few minutes Lando's breath started to stabilise and he already calmed down a little bit.

Charles slowly got closer, not wanting to scare the younger one. He slowly grabbed his hand as they intertwined their fingers, a spark of electricity went through their hands. Lando slowly crept closer and cuddled into Charles side, Charles wrapped an arm around his friend and gave him a kiss on his head. The cuddling with Charles seemed to calm him down but the quietness scared him. Charles noticed.

"It's okay, you're safe in my arms. No one can harm you here" Charles soothingly whispered into the younger one's ear. That seemed to calm Lando down quite a lot more, there where still a few quiet tears rolling down his eyes and he shook a bit but he had stopped sweating that much and he stopped sobbing.

"Thank you" Lando whispered back looking straight into Charles' green eyes, his eyes traveled down from his eyes to his lips and then back to his eyes. He couldn't hold it together anymore as he pressed his lips against Charles'. The kiss was romantic but yet sloppy and passionate, Lando slowly crept even closer and sat down onto Charles' lap as he wrapped his legs around Charles' waist pulling him closer, never breaking the kiss.

After what felt like an eternity they both pulled away –at this point Lando was totally okay again– Both Charles' and Lando's cheeks had a bright red tint, their lips slightly swollen from the kiss. "That was.. unexpected" Charles breathed out. Lando smiled and stayed quiet, "I've liked you for quite a long time and just being so close to you made me snap and I'm so so sorry it was probably stupid and you probably didn't even want to and it's gonna be so awkward now and I'm so sorry" Lando blurted out after a few minutes of silence.

"Lando.." Charles carefully cupped one of Lando's cheeks "If I didn't want too, I wouldn't still be here sitting next to you and holding you the way I've always wanted too because I, I have also liked you for so long." Charles said, meaning every single word he said.

Once again Lando pressed his lips against Charles' "Does this mean we're... Boyfriends?" Lando asked quietly, "We can be whatever you want us to be Lando, if this is too fast for you we can also wait-" Charles tried to finish but Lando cut him off with a kiss. "I would love for us to be boyfriends, if you want too..?" Lando said but his statement was more a question then a statement.

"I would love to" Charles smiled as for the fourth time today they kissed.

Maybe this was what was written in the stars all along..

HIIII I haven't posted for so long jabxbsbw anyways, I hope you liked this because I enjoy writing this so much!! At first I found this pairing a little odd but it's cute tbh.
