4:29 AM
At Naruto's house.

I looked through the kitchen, trying to find my instant ramen. "Oh my god, I shouldn't have ate two cups yesterday.." I groan before throwing on a jacket and leaving my apartment to buy more.

I walked through an alleyway, which was a shortcut to the nearest convenience store. I must've been so tired that I took a wrong turn without realizing it. Suddenly, my eyes fell on the figures standing towards the end of the way.

'What the hell are these people doing at 4 in the morning?.. surely they can't be good news.'

I zipped up my hoodie and quickly walked past them. I could feel their eyes on me, just as I was almost through their way, someone stopped me. I looked back and see one of them walking towards me. He grabbed my hands violently pinning me to the wall.

"W-What are you doing?!" I pushed him off. I wasn't weak, but I definitely wasn't strong enough to fight him. I attempted run until he grabbed my arm harshly. "Where do you think you're going?" Another male spoke.

"J-Just let me go, please." I removed his hands off my body. The other guy threw me on the wall and placed his lower arm over my head, on the wall.

My eyes caught the symbol on his shirt, he works for the Uchiha's. My eyes widened, I felt his breath on my neck. "Stop it! I don't know you!" I pushed him once again which didn't work as he put pressure on me.

"Isn't that obvious? If I had known such a pretty thing like you, I wouldn't let them roam free." He smirked, bringing his free hand on my lips and rubbing them. I slapped his hands away, trying to break free from his grip. He wore a black suit with a white shirt and a black tie.

He had slicked back white hair. "What do you think, will he allow me to take this one home, Kakuzu?" His face turned towards the direction of a black haired man who had a mask on his face.

His face had many scars as well. He was on his phone, typing something. "No, we need to leave, Hidan. He needs us." The other guy left us alone, it was only him, me and his guard left. "Well, it's a shame I couldn't get my hands on you." He smirked as he backed away.

"Fucking hell.." I mumbled, he gave me a dirty grin. I stood there confused.

'I've seen this man somewhere...'

As soon as loosened his grip on me, I booked it out of there. I ran and ran until I reached my place, I hurriedly shut the door behind me.

"Fuck!" I panted as I slid down, leaning on the door. I gasped for air, as I stood up.

He was with the Uchiha's, but Uchiha branch left this town a long time ago, so why are they back? I don't want to get involved with those people, not again.

Wait, if they're here then that means—oh, what the hell?! That can't be right.

I had passed out on the couch, starving as I couldn't stop thinking about the incident. I woke up and looked at the time, it was 10AM.
Wait, it was 10AM! I'm late for school!

I quickly took a shower and threw on a hoodie before I left to school. My hair was still wet but I couldn't waste any more time. I practically ran to school, not caring about fixing my hair. I hadn't even put on some gel to make it look good so it was completely fucked up!

I threw open the class door, I entered as I panted. I looked up to see Iruka looking at me, irritated by the interruption. I felt the eyes of the whole class, as I tilted my head down.

"Why are you late, Naruto?" Iruka asked, as he sighed and walked towards me.

"There was an emergency, I apologize!" I bowed my head.

"Well, clearly." He replied as me glared at me up and down. "Take a seat." He motioned me to go sit down.

I took a seat, wondering where Sai and Shikamaru were. I mean Sai was always late but Shikamaru never skipped classes.

I took out my book, taking notes that were written on the board. Suddenly, Ino scooted towards me. I raised a brow as she looked at me, "well you look a mess." She chuckled, looking at my hair.

I rolled my eyes and attempted to fix it. "Where's my boyfriend?" She asked, as she copied down some notes.

"I don't think Sai is coming today, he's never this late." I mumbled out, wondering why he was late.

"Well, that means you don't have anyone to hang out with today." She says, glancing at me as she rested her head on her hand.

I nodded, I was totally bummed out at the thought. "Yeah, seems like it." I say, returning my attention back to the teacher.

"Sit with me and Sakura." She said as she pointed towards the pink head. I glanced over at Sakura, she waved at me.

Huh? Why were the popular girls inviting me to hang out with them? This was new but I agreed, not wanting to seem like a loner. "Okay."

Ino wrote her number on my paper as she smiled and moved away to her seat.

I was walking to my lockers to put away my books since the last class of the day was finally over. The hallways were empty as usual, no one around since everyone had hung out in front of the campus.

I swung open my locker, but someone had slammed it closed. I turn to look around and see a taller individual standing in front of me. I immediately widen my eyes. No way. No fucking way.

"Missed me?" He smirked as he hovered over me, getting closer to my face, pinning me to the locker behind me.

"I-Itachi?" I stuttered as he snickered at my reaction. "What are you doing here?" I ask, gaining composure as he was inches away from my face.

"You didn't answer my question." He stared into my soul, giving me chills. I chuckled nervously, answering.

I didn't miss him, not one bit. But, if I said that, he'd surely get angry. I hesitated before responding. "S-Sure.."

"Great to hear." He replied, backing away from me. That made me ease up, as I let out a sigh. "Let's get out of here, Naruto-kun." He gave a gentle smile before taking my hand. I was terrified of him, and that smile.

"I can't come with you, I have to go home." I sputtered, shaking his hand off mine.

"I wasn't asking you. I was telling you." He grabbed my hand before taking me away. "Don't make this harder for yourself. Just listen while I'm being nice."

We ended up going to a near by café, he was being all kind to me, and I didn't trust that one bit. He said he wanted to treat me to something, especially after it had been so long since we had last met.

I quietly ate as he scrolled through his phone, telling me something about his work. "Just get to the point, Itachi." I glared at him as he chuckled.

"Ah, you are too adorable, Naruto." He pinched my cheek that was full of food. I shot him another stare which he ignored, I pulled my head away, sighing.

He sighed and rested his head on the palm of his hand, looking up. "Do you ever think about how we could have met differently?" Itachi spoke.

"You mean by not hating each other?" I asked, knowing what he was getting at. "Not really, I had fond memories, wouldn't really have it any other way." I responded, finishing up my wrap, getting up from the seat.

"Fair enough." Itachi sighed, getting up after me. "Shall I drop you home?"

"No thanks, I want to be as far as possible from you." I smile politely before pacing out of there.
