Sasuke left not too long after Itachi did.

Which I was happy about—

I think we're taking our relationship too fast..

I just don't want the same thing to happen to me again.

Even if I have *had* feelings for him, it doesn't feel the same anymore.

Naruto: hi?

Iruka: is everything alright?

Naruto: yeah, don't worry.

Iruka: Alright..big news— I got promoted!

Naruto: Congratulations.

Iruka: Ah Thank you! But there's more to it..

Naruto: What is it?

Iruka: It's in a different state..

Naruto:....o-okay.?

Iruka: We're going to move..please pack your bags.

Iruka: I just bought the quickest flight right now,,

Naruto: Okay, When is it?

Iruka: Tomorrow early morning. I thought I'd give you time to say good bye to your friends.

Naruto: Mm..yeah alright.

Iruka: Listen..new start right? Maybe things will get better for the both of us?

Naruto: *mumbles*

Iruka: Things will get better, I promise you. Keep my word.

Naruto: You might actually be right.

Iruka: See? I won't put you in a school if you don't want to..after all..

Naruto: That's right, I will handle your business.

Iruka: Thats my boy. Cheer up, I'll get someone to pack your bags.

Naruto: No, I'll manage.

Iruka: If you say so.

Maybe he is right, things might just get better. I smile to myself. I'll have a new start. Without them. I might actually have a better life. After all, this is what I wanted..right?

I picked up my phone and dialed Shikamaru's number. "Naruto? What's up?" He asks in a bored tone.

"This might actually be the last time I'm gonna talk to you but— I just wanted to say bye.."

"What do you mean? You aren't coming to school anyways?" He says.

"Yeah- Nevermind! Just wanted to say bye!"

"O..Kay? I don't understand anything at the moment, call me later though." He says.

"I'll try!" I hung up. Maybe I should tell Sai, he can tell everyone after I'm gone.

I dialed sai's number. "Hello? Naruto, why are you calling me at night?" He asks.

"Sai, I'm actually gonna move.." I didn't hear anything on the phone for a good minute.

"What? I didn't hear you properly."

"My dad was promoted recently. His work is in a completely different state—"

Our conversation got real messy later on so I just stopped talking. Which made him a little..worried?

"Can you still..keep in contact with me?..if that's fine with you." He asked.
