"Ken! everything is ready!" Lloyd shouted from the ground as he finish filling up liekki with mana fuel

Ken is inside the silver golem, after hearing what Lloyd shouted, ken activates liekki once again

"Alright, it's time for your true resurrection, liekki!" Ken made the golem stand up

"Mana flow is all good, no strain on any of the joints.. Magus engine is alright" ken smiled, liekki, the golem he found and repaired all this year's us finally ready to move.. all the trial and errors, all the test him and Lloyd made, it's finally able to move perfectly "I guess that's enough test for now" ken made the golem kneel down before opening the cockpit located on its chest, as he jump down Lloyd is waiting for him

"Wow, we really manage to repair it before we leave the village to study huh?"

"Yeah, it's really a hard work for the two of us, good thing some parts is still laying around this place"

"But are you sure your not going to use this golem in the academy? You'll only be using a standard golem?"

"Well, we still don't know what this can do, to all the stories fang told us, this thing is a monster of a golem.. I can't just use something like this on a academy you know"

"Well.. you are right well then, I'll go home and prepare since the two of us will be leaving tomorrow" Lloyd said before leaving the place

Ken look at liekki and smiled "too bad I can't work on this.. since I'll be out of town for so long"

"That's why I have a proposal for you" fang approaches ken

"Hmmm?"

"Make a contract with me ken"

"What? A contract? So that means you'll be my servant right?"

"Yes, I've been thinking about it, you are chosen by this golem to be it's pilot, then if that's the case, I shall be with you, just like how I'm with my deceased master before"

"I see, but.. how can that help me? My only problem is that I'll be away from this golem"

"Fufu~" fang sound a lil smug "if I'm with you I can always use my teleportation magic to get you in this place anytime"

"Teleportation huh? That's indeed helpful- what!? You can use teleportation magic!? That's a very high class spell! Only 1 out of 100 people can use that!"

"Haha, you do know I'm alive for years now, I know a lot of rare magic too bad I can't really teach them to you.. I'm bad at teaching"

"You really are amazing fang...."

The two then made a contract, fang is now ken's servant

Meanwhile in Staedbergh academy in the capital

"So it's finally the time.."  Shina-fae shina for short, ken and Lloyd's mentor in on the top floor balcony of the academy's main building

"Professor shina" a female voice called her from behind

Shina look to see a blonde young woman wearing a white outfit, and has a sword dangling on her belt

"What is it Juliana?" Shina ask the young woman in front of her

"I'm just going to ask, you are in a really good mood for the past week, it's seems that you are excited for something, may I ask why?"

Shina smiles  "nothing is particular, it's just that 2 of my students will be here for the test.. I just hope those two didn't slack off when I left, I swear if they don't pass the test I'll beat them up"

The young woman named juliana, probably a student in the academy is very curious about shina's students

2 students? She didn't know shina have students

Ken saying his farewells to his mother and father before meeting up with Lloyd in the village's entrance

Ken is packed everything that he need, he will miss his parents.. he will be studying in the capital for 3 years and he won't be able to meet his parents that much

Riding in a carriage with Lloyd he looks at the village by the window, before he can't finally see it

"By the way ken" Lloyd talks "father wants me to give this to you" Lloyd uncovers a sword covered in cloth

It was a normal looking Long sword, normal looking, but with the eyes of someone who trains or make swords.. it was build with the best materials around and was forge with care

"Oh, and here it though I will attend the academy using just a dagger I brought from home" ken said as he looks at the blade, before putting it back in it's sheath

Lloyd sighed "are you really sure that your not using that golem?" He ask

"I'm sure.. but don't worry, I can go back there to check it out whenever I want"

"Huh? What do you mean"

"I'll use teleportation magic"

Lloyd stares at ken confused "what? What do you mean?"

"I can use teleportation magic, so there's no need to get confused lloyd" fang suddenly talk

"F-fang? Where is he?"

Suddenly fang emerges from ken's shadow, he's been hiding in it for a while now...

But what surprise Lloyd is Fang's appearance.. he's smaller.. he looks like a puppy

"Is that really you?" Lloyd ask

"Yes, I just went into this form so that I won't scare people" said fang

"I know..I'm also surprise that he can do so many things that we can't even do with our current skills" ken said while looking at Lloyd's surprised face

The 3 of them traveled to the capital, finally.. they will be attending the academy and meet up with shina once again

after years of training.. ken and Lloyd are now 16.. and ready to take the academy's test
