Examination

It is finally the time, ken and Lloyd went inside their golems and walk on the academy's arena

They wait in the waiting area outside their golems as other examinees are fighting the academy's student in the arena for the final test

"I'm so excited! I really want to use everything I learned in this battle so I can pass!" Lloyd exclaimed

Ken smiles hearing his friend's excitement, it's makes him feel excited too

"H-hi, looks like you also pass everything and now at the final test" ken heard a familiar voice from his left

As he looks it's the girls at the blacksmith shop, the one who get her spear repaired

"Oh, it's good to see a familiar face here" ken said with a smile

Lloyd looks at ken and then the girl "you know her ken?"

"Well we just met yesterday when I went out to look around the city, she's in the blacksmith shop where my bought my new gloves"

"Ohhhh"

"Btw, I never ask your name" ken said before looking back at the girl "mines Ken, Ken Yasutaka"

The girl smiles "My name is Roxane Helder"

"Ken Yasutaka! It's your turn for your test!" One of the instructor called ken's name

"Oh, looks like it my turn, see you later Miss Roxane " ken close his golem's cockpit and walk it towards the exit to the arena

"G-good luck!" Roxane shouted

"Oho?~ there he is" Shina-fae said while watching on the spectator area along with a male person wearing teacher uniform

"Is that one of your student?" Ask the male beside shina

"Well of course he is, I like both of my students but something is weird with this one, fufu~ just watch Sir Olyver"

Olyver then look towards the arena waiting for the person that would fight the student shina-fae is really proud off

Ken's golem just stands there waiting for the enemy, until finally his enemy would show up a white golem with the hint of blue, it wield a sword a a shield

"So she's the one testing your student huh? She's our best female second year student" said olyver as he put his hand on his chin

"Juliana huh? Well that's gonna be tough for him" Shina-fae comments

"What's your name examiner?" Juliana asked ken using coms of their golems

"Ummm.. It's ken" said ken

"Ken, try to do your best, I won't hold back" as Juliana said those words her golem raises it shield

"Damn..I can't see any opening at all .. and I don't have any range weapon to fight long range.. this is going to be tough"

As the battle officially start ken
Quickly move forward and use his sword to attack Juliana's golem, Juliana easily block the attacks with her shield. Clearly she's a master of this defensive fighting style

As Juliana keeps on blocking, she saw an opportunity to attack swinging her sword toward her enemy's hear. Ken saw this and dodges only getting scratch on his golem's paint

"Dammit...she blocks all the attacks..if only I can- wait.. that can work!" Ken has a plan.. moving forward again to send barrage of attacks trying to see time what he has planned

But Juliana would keep on defending and attacking when she see a opportunity

Juliana smiles "I wonder what he's trying to do... " She wonders while the other expectators think ken is only trying to win a pointless fight, Juliana's golem has a lot more defense
And she is known for her sword and shield style

Once again ken charges in but this time he saw it when juliana tries to counter she is open, seeing this he waited and as Juliana does the same move..and knowing her reflex is good

Luth transfer more magic energy onto his golem's sword hand and using that power to thrust as fast as he can and sucessfully stabbing juliana's golem on its sword arm, hitting it's
Forearm making it unusable

Everyone was surprise on what happen, not only did ken manage to get through Juliana's defence, he is also damaged her golem's forearm rendering it unusable 

But with the cost of..his golem's arms exploding after too much strain

Juliana was shock that he manage to get through her shield, she smiled..

Their time is up and the test was declared a draw
