Chapter Forty-One

"Giving Up? Letting Go? Staying?"

Natasha's Unconscious POV

I found myself myself in front of a door. I opened it and saw my father inside. It wasn't our old house in the states, it was something bigger. It was located close to a beach and I could see it through the glass door. The wind kept blowing as I tried to figure out where I was.

"Dad?" I inquired in English as I entered properly and he smiled

"Where have you been?" mom asked as she came out from the kitchen with snacks

"Somewhere I shouldn't have gone, but I'm glad I'm back. How on earth did we afford this place?" I asked

"You payed for it silly" My dad said and my eyes popped "Come here, let me play something for you" he added

I sat beside him as he played the piano. It was the first time in years that I was truly happy.

Bee Na's POV

I entered her room and fell beside her bed. Her lips were dry-face pale-hands cold. I didn't know what to do or how to start my sentence. Tears ran down my cheeks as I held onto her hand.

"Tah Shay, miane haeyo, please wake up. I.........I have a lot to tell you. Please wake up" I struggled to say and cried on her hand.

I had an unwanted feeling that she might not wake up but I did want to believe it. I went back home and packed most of my things including abeoji's letter. I went into Tah Shay's room and gabbed a lip gloss. I planned on staying with her until she woke up, hence, I drove back to the hospital.

"Tah Shay, you still look pretty" I said as I applied the lip gloss on her lips. Then, I opened abeoji's letter.

LETTER CONTENT

Dear Bee Na,

This is not a time to exchange greetings. This is the time I entrust you with my wealth and break a promise to a girl that loves only you. She can't slap me now, so I'll just tell you. Tah Shay, suffered in your mother's hands, but she endured everything for you.

Miane haeyo, I didn't keep my promise to protect her from your mother but I protected her the best way I knew best. I gave ONLY Tah Shay my blessings, therefore, if you end up with another, it won't work out. Go! Find Tah Shay and bring her back. Nobody can love you better than her. Go! Now! Find her and apoplogize because you can't live without her. Remember, pride, is the weakest of them all. I love you son.

Abeoji ♥

I cried while reading abeoji's letter and after reading it. I held Tah Shay's hand and begged her to wake up. For hours, I called her name.

Natasha's Unconscious POV

Dad played the piano for a long time while mum and I watched him. I played for them as well and they were amazed and proud. Something I had always wanted. Dad held on to my left hand the whole time.

"Natasha, you have to go now" mum said

"Why? I don't want to" I objected

"Fear-second to hate-is the weakest emotion. You still have a lot to do back there. You have to go" Abeoji walked in and said

"Dad, mum, abeoji. Please don't send me away" I said as a tear dropped

"We are not sending you away. Can't you hear someone calling you?" mother said

"Tah Shay!" I heard Bee Na's voice echoing

"You have to go now my child" dad said

"Ye! You have a lot to do" abeoji added

I stood up and hugged them because, slowly, I felt myself leaving them. I opened the back down and walked towards the ocean. I was half way in when I turned and waved at them. I heard Bee Na's voice again and the water pulled me in.

Bee Na's POV

She opened her eyes slowly and tightened her grip on my hand. I was thrilled, shocked, happy, sad, all at the same time. Tears still rolled down my cheeks.

"Why are you disturbing me?" she asked in the weakest voice

"Tah Shay, miane haeyo. I've been such a fool, I betrayed you. Miane haeyo. If you don't want to forgive me, I'll understand. Miane......miane haeyo" I cried out

"Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong. Abeoji's words! My mum always said love covers all and love always prevails. Miane haeyo Bee Na, because, I failed in some aspect too. There was something I waited one month to tell you but didn't get the chance to" she struggled to say as tears came out of her eyes

"What is is?' I replied

"Bee Na.......I love you too"

My heart melted when she finally said it. My eyes gave way for a flood. I wanted to hear her say it since I told her at my house in the garden, just before I left for the states. I kissed her immediately and she kissed me back. I told her over a hundred times how much I love her.

The doctor came in to check if she was okay and left shortly after. Tah Shay sat up straight in her bed and I took pictures of her. Of course she protested but I was overexcited that we were back together so I didn't really care. While feeding her, I just stared.

"Yah! You better leave, I'm tired of seeing your face and you staring at me all the time" she said childishly

"Bor? Alasseo! I was going to cut my head but I'll just leave" I said as I got up from her bed, smirked and walked to the door

"Gajima! (Don't go)" she said with a serious voice and I froze "I......I'm not sure I can survive without you, so.........gajima." she added and I turned back and walked close to her bed and noticed her tears "If you really have to go for a day and you can't take me with you.........gajima. If you stop loving me.......gajima. If it gets to hard.....gajima. Even if I tell you to......gajima. Bee Na.......gajima" she struggled to say while fighting her tears

"Tah Shay. I'll never leave you. I guess I'll have to cut my head off now since you are tired of seeing my face, but I'll never leave you" I said and she smiled. I hugged her afterwards

Tah Shay said to contact the detectives, that she was ready to say who attacked her. When they arrived, she played the recording on her phone. My jaw dropped when I heard that mother was responsible. The detectives followed me to my house to arrest mother for attempted murder.

Hyun Nam De's POV

I was talking to Park Ji-Won about the change of events and how I intended to fix it. She didn't want to fix things with Bee Na but I tried to make her see reason. The detectives arrived with Bee Na shortly after to arrest me. While they were taking me out, Park Ji-Won stopped them and explained that they had to arrest her mother too, being that she was responsible for wedding disaster.

They went over to Park Na Na's house and arrested her as well. We were trailed few days later and with all the evidence present, We were convicted to life imprisonment.
