"Since the very beginning," he mumbled. "What?" I frowned, not understanding what he exactly meant. There was a moment of silence, him shifting awkwardly and me staring at him still baffled.

"I'm just gonna leave," I spoke up. Picking up my purse, I looked up at Haneul, "Thank you for this date but I'm not interested. Neither in you nor generally dating anyone," he was about to speak when I kept my share of the bill. "There is no need for this. It was my treat, I can pay," he said as soon as he saw me keeping the money on the table. "So, can I! And there won't be any further dates so I wouldn't like to be in debt of anyone" I smiled at him sarcastically.

Looking back at Jungkook who was standing there witnessing how well he ruined the date and my day, "You're ridiculous" I huffed at him and walked out.

JUNGKOOK'S POV:
As soon as she left the café, I smirked at the guy, "See you never I guess". I walked outside to follow her but she was nowhere outside. I had to fix what I said. I don't want her to know I have feelings for her when I know I'm going to get rejected and maybe won't get to see her ever again, let it be teasing her.

Teasing and annoying her was the only thing I could do to her since she hated me from the very beginning. I was dumb enough to think that annoying and bullying her in high school, I might gain her attention and she might start liking me back. But that didn't happen; rather she started despising me and still does.

After all these years I thought those feelings might go away, but as soon as I saw her, I fell for her all over again. But she wasn't the same timid Y/N from high school, she had changed for good. She had grown stronger, even though she would insult me a lot I didn't mind it. Even her insults felt sweet to me.

Shrugging these thoughts, I quickly rushed to my car to go to her office since it was still office hours she would go back to the office.

Y/N'S POV:
I stormed out of that café and rushed to my car. I was about to turn on the car when my phone rang. It was Yuna.

"I'm going to kill you! Wait till I come back," I said, furiously. "Hey hey hey relax! You wouldn't have been on that amazing date if it weren't for me", "The date wasn't amazing sweetie" I spoke gently, "It went terrible" I yelled. "What?", "Well, firstly I didn't even know I was on a date and secondly Jungkook had to be there to create a scene and ruin my peaceful lunch", "Why was Jungkook there?"

"Oh because I called him and told him, hey Jungkook I'm on a date which I didn't even know was a date, it was supposed to be a luncheon business meeting. Anyways, wanna come to ruin my day?" I said, sarcastically. "You're on fire babe calm down. But my guy Haneul wasn't that bad right", "He was so nice that I wanted to punch him, not because of him actually but because of you" I retorted. "Oh god, you're spitting fire through the phone, calm down. I guess that was the reason you didn't pick my calls. Burn me later but now listen,"

"What?" I asked, still mad at her. "So Sarang was having a toothache so her teacher called you but you weren't picking up so she called me and I brought her to the office".

"What? Oh okay I'm coming right now", "Though she is fine now and asking for chocolates", "No! Don't give her any. I need to cut down on her chocolates", "Says the one who's obsessed with them and has a special drawer filled with I don't know how many chocolates"

"Shut up. I'm coming" I said as I cut the call and turned the car on and left the place.

Since the dentist appointment wasn't until the evening, we would have to wait. As soon as I reached the company, I parked my car in the parking assigned and rushed up to my office.

JUNGKOOK'S POV:
I parked my car in the guest parking of her company. I could see her rushing inside the company. "What is so important that she has to rush back?" I thought. I tried calling her name but by then she had already disappeared. I composed myself before rushing in as well.
