18th Birthday

Trixie's POV

It's been eight weeks since we left Mystic Falls and today is mine & Elena's 18th birthday. I should be there celebrating it with her. Yet I'm in Tennessee with Klaus and Stefan hunting werewolves. I've tried to leave. But I'm caught each time by Klaus or one of his minions.

Right now I'm in a car with Stefan while he waited for Klaus' signal. "It's our birthday today" I tell him sadly. "It's our first as sister" I say fighting back tears.

"I'm so sorry Trixie" he tells me honestly.

"I know you are, I just miss my home" I tell him. He looks out the window.

"I have to go, please don't lose hope Trixie. I will get you back to her" he tells me before leaving. I sigh hoping Elena is having a better birthday then I am. Soon Klaus appears.

"We have a lead and are going to a bar" he tells.

"Great, I can drink my problems away" I grumble.

"Come now love, things aren't that bad" he tells me. "I almost forgot, here" he says handing me something. I look at it confused. "It's a gift, happy birthday" he states.

"How did you..." I start to ask.

"You share the same birthday as your ancestor" he states. "Go on, open it" he says handing me the gift. I sigh and do so to see a lapis lazulu necklace.

"It's lovely" I tell him honestly.

"May I?" he asks. I nod my head and turn my back to him. Letting him put it on. Once it was clasped I turn back to him. "It suits you" he says smiling stroking my hair. Stefan returns and I turn away from Klaus who sighs. Before getting in the front seat and we left for our next destination. The Southern Comfort Bar.

We arrived at the bar and I went to get a drink. While Stefan compelled everyone and Klaus approached Ray. I listen in as I sip my drink. He talks about how we found Ray. "I think I'll be going" Ray states going to leave and Klaus stops him.

"Not so fast mate. You only just got here, now your type are very hard to come by" Klaus tells him as I take a shot. Ray tries to walk the other way but he bumps into Stefan who is standing there and stops him.

"I wouldn't do that" he tells him. He pushes him back to the counter.

"You're swifty swift Ray! Yes! My friend here is a vampire. He compelled everybody in the bar so don't look to them for any help. I however, I'm something else, a different kind of monster. I've got some vampire, I've got some wolf" Klaus explains.

"You what?" he asks.

"A hybrid Ray" I tell him bored and take another shot as they all look at me. "Yeah, I'm still still here. Get a move on" I tell them.

"Of course love" Klaus says. "You see I want to create more of me. Now you being the first werewolf that I've come across in many a moon, pun intended Ray! I need you to direct me to your pack. So, where can I find them Ray?" he asks.

"You can't compel me, it won't work" Ray tells him. Stefan starts scratching his head, Klaus looks at him and he nods. Stefan turns around and takes out something out of his back pocket.

"Can you bring out the darts please?" he asks the bar man. "Tell you what Ray, We're gonna play a little drinking game, something I like to call truth or wolfsbane" he tells him. He pulls out a pouch of wolfsbane, pours it into his hand, crushing it with his fingers.

"Oh, this is gonna be fun Ray" Klaus says smirking.

"Yeah, not my thing" I tell them. "I'm going to dance" I state and finish my drink. Leaving them at the bar.
