Trixie's POV
I'm in the kitchen with Elena, Stefan and Damon. Elena is telling us about her talk with Elijah last night. "It was their mother Esther who was sealed in that coffin" she states.
"As in the Original Witch?" Stefan asks.
"Do we know any other Esther's?" I ask him. Elena gives me a look.
"How is she even alive? Thought her hybrid freak show of a son ripped her heart out a thousand years ago" Damon says.
"He did and he is not a freak" I tell him annoyed.
"I'm guessing she has a couple connections in the witching community. Elijah said that she wants to live in peace with her family, including Klaus" Elena tells us. I smile happy for Klaus and his siblings.
"She was supposed to be the weapon to help us kill Klaus" Stefan states. I roll my eyes. He so needs to get over it.
"Well, not anymore...at least not according to Elijah" Elena tells us.
"That coffin was the only thing stopping Klaus from tearing us to shreds" Stefan states.
"Anyone else feeling a little used right now?" Damon asks.
"Look, Elijah promised me that his family wouldn't hurt any of us" Elena assures us. Suddenly the doorbell rings. "I believe him" she adds before going to get the door.
"So do I" I tell the Salvatores.
"You only believe him because you're in love with Klaus" Damon states.
"I won't deny I am developing feelings for him, but I wouldn't say I'm in love yet. Besides we aren't even a couple" I explain. Elena returns with two envelopes. "What'cha got there?" I ask her curious and she hands me one with my name on it. I open it to see it's an invitation to a ball. I turned it over to see a hand written message from Klaus.
Please save me a dance, little fox
I smile, I love when he calls me that. I go to leave the room. "Where are you going?" Elena asks.
"To search my wardrobe for a dress, bye" I say and race upstairs. I go to my room and start to search my wardrobe and frown. None of my dresses seem fancy enough for a ball. I grab my phone and text Klaus, asking if we can meet. He said yes and I left the house. I meet him by the fountain.
"You ok little fox?" he asks me concerned. "Thought you'd be getting ready for the ball" he states.
"I would be, but none of my dresses seem right for a ball" I tell him with a pout.
"I can take care of that" he assures me.
"You're a lifesaver" I tell him as I wrap my arms around his neck. "Can I ask one last favour?" I ask him.
"Of course" he tells me.
"Can you please send Care an invite and a dress?" I ask him hopeful. "She loves a dance and I know she'd love to go to a ball. But she also won't have an appropriate dress either" I explain.
"If it'll make you happy, of course I will" he tells me.
"Klaus, what are we?" I ask him. "I mean we kissed yesterday and I enjoy hanging out with you. But are we together?" I ask him.
"I'd like us to be" he tells me. "So will you Trixie Gilbert be my girlfriend?" he asks me.
"I'd be honoured" I tell him.
"Go get ready, I'll send you and Caroline the dresses. Along with her invite" he tells me. "See you tonight" he states.
"See you tonight" I say and peck him on the lips before leaving.
